Abu Layth has obviously been affected by his devbandi teachers into bearing hatred for Mawla Ali رضي الله عنه.

This isn't surprising for these neo-kharijites. This is the same faction that deems yazid to be amir ul muminin.

This joker should read the numerous Sunni texts that mention the differences between Mawla Ali and Hazrat muawiyah رضي الله عنهما and conclude: both were mujtahids. The ijtihad of Mawla Ali was correct and Sayyiduna muawiyah was mistaken.

In terms of rank, there is a big difference. Mawla Ali holds a rank far greater.

Abu Layth is a donkey. He casts aspersions on the intentions of both Mawla Ali and Hazrat muawiyah by saying they were astute, i.e. opportunistic etc.

I just don't get why these pretenders can't read basic aqidah texts.

Why do these juhala think the sahabah were like us?

Had it he criticised Hazrat Muawiayah ibn abi sufyaan, this thread would have been heating up! unfortunately, none have come forward to defend Mawla Ali ibn Abi Talib. It's probably due to the lack of time...

from his CV on his Facebook page:-
    ------------------------------------------------
Mufti would often share personal dialogues with Shaykh AbdulGhani al-Diqqar and was very impressed and inspired by his eccentric sense of humour despite his old age (82 yrs old), he'd often do pranks like pull and trip-over some of his senior-aged friends/students in the masjid and find it hillarious, may Allah elevate his maqam in Jannah, ameen. He taught that Islam encourages to Live, Love and laugh.

After gaining his ijazah, the Mufti returned to Pakistan, Karachi and completed the (Dars-e-Nizami) Alim Course at the renowned Jami`ah Binnoria, where studied the various Islamic Sciences ranging from Tafsir, Hadith, Usul, Comparative Fiqh, Arabic Literature, Arabic Grammar, history and Aqidah, from an intermediate to advanced level.
    --------------------------------------------------

therefore, his rants / pranks are not to be taken seriously.
