Painting presenting UAE and Israel friendship at a Dubai exhibition (May'21) commemorating the Jewish Holocaust.

Wonder if UAE will also care to put up an exhibition to commemorate Nakba?

I must say that Sauds are not dumb, but are rather methodical in their approach. There is no better place to indoctrinate than Bangladesh. At the risk of sounding condescending and stereotyping, I say that Bangladeshis are ultimate sheeples (or simpletons, to be fair and more charitable) who will accept wahhabi doctrine hook, line and sinker. It's staggering how many bangladeshi sunnis are turning to tablighi jamaat and wahhabism. Very rarely you find one who is staunchly sunni and hates these deviants (like some of us have been brought to do!). I have seen a number of sunni, Bangladeshi mosques in UK losing control and being taken over by deviants. In Madinah Munawwarah, I have seen them rapt, eagerly lapping the lies that mutawwas preach (labelling this and that bidah & shirk).

The aal as-Sa'ud aren't Jews. They are, in fact, a branch of Banu Hanifah, the tribe of Musaylimah. This is affirmed by the aal as-Sa'ud themselves in their history books and genelogies.

Does the Saudi government not formally post their moon sighting announcements online? I can't find anything. Their government website does not even display the Islamic date anywhere. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs site however does.

Are there any English Middle East websites that report official government moon sighting announcements on a monthly basis?

Claims that Saudis have given $16bn to Israel as slush fund. Might sound outrageous but not totally out of the realms of possibility.

this is the new trend of "personal Islam" that's creeping in their society lately. if it carries on, the separation of mosque and state is very near.

we pray to Allah Hejaz comes under Sunni rule soon

now they're looking at developing and preserving historical artifacts.

when it was a case of tabarruk, it's shirk

when it's a case of tourism revenue, it's mandub. bring in those tourist dollars!

I'll add one more "anecdotal evidence";-)

Saudi moon-sighting method considers the possibility of Islamic new month starting from mahaaq (birth of moon). This practice is eerily similar to that of jews. I have even heard a very respected Imam that he had insider evidences to prove that Saudi moonsighting announcements are driven by their jewish masters!

Given these mounting "anecdotal evidences", it's time moderators carved these "evidences" into a separate thread!

I'm tempted to add my own "anecdotal evidence";)

I have heard that the new day najdis identify themselves with abu Lahab and apparently there was a recent edict asking people to avoid reciting Surah al-Lahab (111) and openly cursing abu Lahab.

...and haven't the Sauds built a palace for themselves on Jabal Habshi (7 kms from Madinah Munawwarah)? This is the very mountain which marks the boundary of Madinah and the dajjal will reach up to this point and will be forced to beat a retreat. Why build a palace here?

    good example of anecdotal evidence.

i know of a certified anecdote from a wahabi jail where a hindu spoke rubbish against the Prophet 3alaihis salam, and also one of the Muslim inmates spoke against the mutawwa who was a general nuisance to the inmates. when the mutawwa came to the jail to do his rounds and do "tarbiyah" of the inmates, the Muslim inmates informed him about the hindu's blasphemous remarks and that they were witnesses to it and that he should be executed for it. the hindu on the other hand ratted out on the guy who spoke against the mutawwa. the mutawwa then leaves the hindu alone and goes to the Muslim guy and said something along the lines of, "leave what he said about the Prophet (3alaihis salam). tell me what you said about me." and a lot of the staff and the mutawwa were more worried about the honor of the mutawwa and didn't lend a second thought to what the hindu said.

that same mutawwa, when once before told about two inmates openly committing sodomy, laughed it off (literally) saying something like, "so what's so unusual about that? everyone does it". this is a guy who worries about his own honor above that of religion! their lives are full of such real life anecdotes left, right and center!
