    Don't hold your breaths though!

Bid3ah is built upon arrogance and beghayrati more than anything else! Arrogance and beghayrati are a mubtadi3i's way of life!

we DID not have anything against irfan shah. now we have many issues other than the jalali sahib issue.

if he is to be accepted back - he must expressly disavow and swear an oath (he knows how to swear well) that he has not converted to shia and is a covert operative.

irfan shah has squandered all his capital in one baazi. anything he says is not trustworthy - as anyway, his adalat is questionable.

people may think this is harsh, but i am thinking of 20-30 years or say a 100 years after all of us have left the stage. we don't want some new irfan shah waving 'irfan shah mash'hadi of 2020' saying such-and-such and the ulama and public of his time accepting his 'decision' without demur.

and for wannabe-irfan shahs in their 20s now, a solid lesson that we are not a political party - where people come and go as they like. if you go, you GO. you can come back if you like, but you won't get the same respect.

    your choice.

Exactly @Aqdas. Before this incident, we had a favourable view of Shah Sahib and admired his strong stance in support of sunni principles. However, Shah sahib and his mureeds have been obstinate in seeking Jalali Sahib's ruju and Tawba. When that was not forthcoming, Shah Sahib was instrumental in getting a fatwa placed on Jalali sahib, involved in the arrest of Jalali sahib and used filthy language against Jalali sahib and his family. A family who have served Bikkhi Sharif and the father of Jalali sahib was also the teacher of Shah sahib.

As @Aqdas points out Shah sahib has also used the term 'khata' for Sayida Aisha (iss khata par Sayida Aisha rothi tee- Sayida Ayesha used to cry about this error) Now we expect the learned mureeds of Shah Sahib to do their jobs as 'khadims' of the sunnis to adopt a similar approach against Shah sahib or admit they were wrong about how they treated Jalali sahib's statement and the subsequent actions of their shaykh to it. It can't work both ways.

    Largely agree with Waqar.

One thing that should be made clear: we have nothing against Sayyid Mash'hadi. We're only concerned with the issue per se.

    In addition to Waqar's list:

Sayyid Mash'hadi also used the word khata for Sayyidah Ayishah رضي اللہ عنھا so whatever ruling him and the murids place on Jalali sahib, the same applies to Sayyid Mash'hadi.

At the time of writing, correct me if I am wrong but there are multiple issues with Shah Sahib outstanding:
    1. Swearing and if this is licit
    2. Instrumental in a fatwa being placed on Jalali Sahib that has been roundly rejected.
    3. Referring to some Sahaba as 'mad".
    4. Associating thinking to Allah most High in that contentious clip about ilm ul gayb.
    5. Misquoting texts and their authors on that interview that Shah sahib has said he will fully back up.

I seriously think that Shah Sahib's learned mureeds are better off clarifying these issues instead of sharing problematic shairs that are ostensibly against Jalali sahib.

As Qari Zawadar said, it can't be one way traffic. We will see how obstinate they are in seeking ruju and tawba from their shaykh as they were from Jalali sahib. That will show how sincere 'khadims' they are and not the blind following mureeds the evidence suggests they are.

It's not clear but at 46 minutes, 30 seconds, what does he say about Ahl ul Bayt being Ma'soom. He does nafee first but the following statements are not clear.

Secondly, does it mention in the Quran that Allah most High refers to the sahaba as 'mad' for how they perceived the incident involving Syeda Ayesha. I think this needs more investigation because he refers to the Sahaba as 'mad' after saying Allah most High is not upset with the Munafiq in this incident.
@abu Hasan could you shed some light on this

This was mentioned in the Khata thread that Syed Irfan Shah in one of his recent conferences allegedly said that Allah most High referred to the sahaba as 'pagal". There was a refutation of it by Syed Kamil Bukhari but has since been quashed. Did Shah Sahib clarify this or do ruju?

is there a longer video with a full context that some punjabi speakers can see properly?

so far, i haven't seen any other group comment on it.

if the allegation is really as said, then it's almost as if Irfan Shah was a taqiyyabaz shia all these years!
