Salam Alaikum I have a copy - have quite enjoyed reading it next to the Arabic text this Ramadan. Let me know if you want to see how he’s translated any particular ayahs and I can type it up.
Agreed, but that doesn't undo all the evil he has spread, and I'm not even talking abt IKT here. He's just like hanson. If you've witnessed any loan fraudsters, you'll know their classic strategy is to always pay off small loans on time or even before time to build trust. Then they suddenly ask for a large amount, and vanish into thin air. These kind of people operate like that in matters of deen. Within desis too, you'll see a lot of people who start their careers by portraying themselves as hafize Fatawa Ridawiyya, and then a few years down the line, they start to show their true colors.
Let a mufti sahib comment on permissibility per se, but i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. On the back cover, it clearly flaunts Keller's association with the royal aal al-bayt institute of jordan, which is nothing but an operation working against Islam, both in terms of creed as well as practice - plain and simple. Keller is a cohort or associate of ghazi bin talal, sohail nakhooda, hanson, hosein nasr, and other such enemies of deen. His students are buffoons like faraz rabbani, and other such modernist morons. I don't expect any good to come out of this "translation" much different than the study Quran. Even if it has nothing problematic content-wise, by some freak of luck, it still promotes a shoddy shaykh like keller and people can think he's actually truthful and honest, when in reality he's just a shaykh pretender with very shallow and hollow knowledge base.
