The Distinguished Sahabi-e-Rasoolﷺ Hazrat Jaabir (Radiyallahu anhu) respectfully enquired from the Holy Prophetﷺ

“O Prophet of Al’laahﷺ, my parents be sacrificed upon you. What is the first thing which Almighty Al’laah created before everything else?

    The Holy Prophet Muhammadﷺ replied,

"O Jaabir(Radiyallahu anhu) ! Undoubtedly, before creating anything else, Almighty Al’laah created the Noor of your Nabiﷺ from His Noor”

The moon moving by the indication of the Prophetﷺ

It is in a Hadith that the uncle of the Prophetﷺ, Sayyiduna Abbās RadiAllahu Anhu came to the Prophetﷺ and said,

“My acceptance of Islam is because of witnessing one of your miracles. You would be in your cradle and would talk to the moon. Wherever you pointed your finger towards the moon would move accordingly".

    The Prophetﷺ said,

“Yes! I would talk to the moon and it would talk to me. It would prevent me from crying. I would here the thump when it would go in prostration under the divine Throne.”

(Narrated by Imām Baihaqi in his Dala’il, Imām Shaikul Islam Abu Uthmān Ismā’il bin Abdur Rahman al-Sabooni in al-Mi’atain, Khatīb and ibn ‘Asākir narrated this Hadith in their Tarīkh Baghdad and Dimashq RadiAllahu Anhuma)

Al-Khasā’is al-Kubrā, with references to al-Baihaqi and al-Sabūni, the chapter on Munagāt li al-Qamr, (Markaz Ahlesunnat, India), vol. 1, p. 53.

Divine signs at the time of His birth – The Ka’aba sways for 3 days.

Even the Ka’aba was expressing happiness on the coming of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam):
Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat ‘Amr bin Qutaibah says: I heard my father say and he was a great reservoir of knowledge that when the time of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) came near, Almighty Allah ordered His angels to open all the doors of all the heavens and to open the doors of paradise as well. Then they should present themselves on earth and start congratulating each other. The mountains raised themselves further. The waves of the sea grew even higher. The creation of the oceans and seas started congratulating each other. All the angels had come. Satan was chained with 70 chains and he was cast face-down in the ocean. Devils and rebellious genie were chained. That day the sun was adorned with great radiance and 70,000 damsels were stood above it. They waited for the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Almighty Allah decreed for all women that year that they would be all blessed with a son. All the trees were laded with fruits and every fear was replaced with solace. When the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was born, the whole world became radiant and the angels started congratulating each other. On each heaven, a pillar of precious stones was raised, due to which the sky became radiant. That pillar is well known in the highest heavens (Mala-e-A’ala) which the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) saw during the heavenly journey of Meraj. He was told that this is the pillar which was raised in honor of your birth. On the night of His birth, Almighty Allah planted 1000 fragrant trees on the side of Houz-e-Kauthar. Their fruit was made fragrance for the dwellers of paradise. The dwellers of all the spiritual realms started supplicating for safety. All idols prostrated. Laat and ‘Uzza came out of their places and were saying: ……The Trustworthy Prophet has come. The True One has come to them. The Quraish doesn’t realize what distinction has it been granted. For days after it, people heard a voice from the Ka’aba. It was saying: Now my radiance will be returned to me. Now those who circumambulate (perform Tawaf) will come to me. Now, I will be cleaned of the filth of the days of ignorance. O ‘Uzza! You are finished. The Ka’aba swayed for 3 days and 3 nights. This was the first sign that the Quraish saw on the occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam).

"He is the first; he is the last; he is the open; he is the hidden; and he has knowledge of everything.’ – Surah Hadīd (57), Verse 3

In the khutba of the book Madaarijun-Nubuwwah, Shaikh Abdul-Haqq Muhaddith Dehlwi states that this verse is both the praise of Allah and the praise of His Beloved ﷺ.The Holy Prophet ﷺ is the first of all, the last of all, heﷺ is evident to all, heﷺ is obscured, and heﷺ has knowledge of everything.

The Holy Prophetﷺ is the first of all – Before the world, Hereafter and everything else, the first thing created was the Noor of Rasoolullah ﷺ,

In the case of his physical body, Sayyiduna Adamعليه سلام is the father of Rasoolullahﷺ, but in reality Rasoolullahﷺ is the source of Sayyiduna Adamعليه سلام. A tree bears flowers even though the tree itself is from a flower. The flower of this orchard of creation is Rasoolullahﷺ. Prophethood was first bestowed to him, as he himself states,

"I was already a prophet when Adamعليه سلام was between sand and water (i.e. in the process of being created)"

On the Day of Covenant, when it was asked by Allah ,

    “Am I not your Lord?”,

The Holy Prophetﷺ was the first to reply,

    “Indeed You are.” – Surah A’rāf (7), Verse 172.

On the Day of Qiyaamat, Rasoolullah’sﷺ grave will be opened first. He’ll be commanded first to both make sajda and intercede (Shafa'ath). Bear in mind that the door of intercession will only be opened by the Holy Prophetﷺ. He’ll also be the first to open the doors of Jannah and enter it. All the other Prophets(Alaihimussalam) will enter after him. It will be Rasoolullah’sﷺ Ummah to first enter Jannah, and the other nations will follow us into Paradise. In short, the crown of being the first and having precedence is set on his blessed head. The first day (i.e. Jumua, Friday) was bestowed to the Holy Prophetﷺ. Yet in spite of all these things, the Holy Messengerﷺ is also last.
