comparing celebration of mawlid an-nabiy, to hindus (or worse) commemorating birthday of krishna. barahin, pg.152
then, this repeated celebration of birthday [of the Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam] is similar to the gathering[1] of hindus, celebrating the birthday of krishna [2]; or similar to the rafidis who narrate the story of the martyrdom of ahl al-bayt every year; [we seek Allah's refuge] ma'adhAllah! this is would be equivalent of play-acting [saang] the birth of the Prophet sallALlahu alayhi wa sallam. and this ugly act is in itself worthy of blame and haram [forbidden] and corruption [fisq].

rather, these people are worse than those communities [3] because, they do it on a specific date, and here they have no restriction - they do it whenever they like.
    -----
the whatever-is-suitable-for-the-moment-opinion of the deobandis. in al-muhannad, that they so proudly show it to others, khalil said the opposite of this. also here, not doing it on a specific date is the issue; but elsewhere, fixing a specific date is bothersome.

    -----
    1. saang: means a play, a show. saang banaana means: to arrange a play for entertainment. hindus make such tableaux and plays, commemorating the birth of krishna - who according to their mythology was born in a dungeon.

    2. kanhaiyah: is the alias of krishna, and a blue god in hindu mythology.

    3. that is worse than hindus commemorating krishna and rafizis commemorating the martyrdom of ahl al-bayt.

even if a major teacher (nay, their imam) from devbandi school does not know the difference between qiyas e fasid and qiyas e fasidah. allamah badruddin quipped: 'this is the state of their urdu and they brag that devbandi relations taught RasulAllah sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam the urdu language.'

for those who don't know urdu..

khalil saharanpuri/ambhetvi says bragging the loftiness of his devband school:
it is this reason that a righteous man saw the Pride of the world `alayhi's salam in his dream and he saw him speaking in Urdu. so he asked: 'how did you learn this language? you are an Arab.' he replied: 'ever since my association with the scholars of this school of devband were established, i have learnt this language.'

sub'HanAllah, this shows the greatness of this school

i am sure, the deobandi newspeak will not stop at carping that we have misrepresented this: 'aa gayi' means 'came to me' which does not mean that devbandis taught him, they will whine. but if you ask them what is the point of mentioning this for devbandi greatness, or the wee little clause: 'association with scholars of deoband,' they will just call you a fitna-monger and go ahead.

another refutation of barahin e qaTiah of khalil ambhetvi devbandi is found here.

it is strange that devbandis on forums and blogs howl at 8 or 20 rak'ah or the many matters of taqlid when their murabbiy-e-khalayiq (sustainer of the creation) rashid gangohi and his student khalil did not think it was big deal.

for salafis who want to refute devbandis, all they have to do is present them with khalil or rashid's own quotes and hold them to ismayil's tafwyatu'l iman. the histrionics and the drama that devbandis put up in our times, is quite amusing.

    ---
if anyone reads barahin, or other devbandi refutations, instead of proof, there are big fat lies and ad hominem attacks on the authors they attempt to refute; similar to what faqir was complaining about other heretics here. after all, they share the same common (spiritual) ancestors.

laa Hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah.

Anwār e Saţiáh dar Bayān e Mawlūd wa Fatiĥah was very difficult to read for common folks due to its old language and style. Now this classical work has been published with tasheel and takhrīj, see here. (published by brother tariq mahmood)

it is an important work, and all Urdu speaking brothers must read it. it gives a lot of the context of deobandi - ahlussunah dispute because brahīn qāţiáh was written in response to the first edition of this book, and deobandi akabir started revealing their wahhabism.

the quality of the text is not good specially in the footnote, but still it is readable, it would be nice if someone can scan and upload a hi-res copy of this book
