Mufti Shamsh al Huda Misbahi's 2 volume sharah in Arabic on Muwatta of Imam Muhammed has a lot of evidence for ahnaaf.

Also, another Misbahi scholar wrote Taliq on Muwatta of Imam Muhammed. In this, he took those issues which Wahaabis[ pseudo salafis] used to raise from Abdal Hayy al Luncknawi's Taliq al munajjad.

Alhamdulillah this is now in dars e nizami.

That user has mentioned" hanafi" as madhab and is acting as a deobandi. But in his posts he advocates for 'athari school" , Ibn Taymiyah and Ibn abdal wahab najadi al tamimi.

I do not want to spoil this book thread, but would like to mention that Maulvi Ashraf ali thanvi did takfir of Shaykh Shibli Nomani ( scan posted earlier) and Maulvi Thanvi also called " Sir sayed Ahmed Khan ( founder of Aligarh muslim university) as ZINDIQ and Dajjal. Also, those who are aware about Amin Multani ( a big fitna of present time in Pakistan) must know that in his initial days Amin Multani supported deobandis , saying that he has been told in dream that the "mistakes" of deobandi elders have been forgiven! That time deobandis were silently supporting amin multani. The Ahlus sunnah clearly called him a deviant. Later when deobandis saw that this amin multani is really a deviant , they too started keeping a distance with him.

In short, the policy of wahabbis ( deobandis) is that they can issue the verdict of deviancy on any one whom they want ( recall shaykh alwi al maliki rh) but when the ahlus sunnah do the same, deobandis can't accept it.

I have one word for all this. Hypocrisy.

3. Someone's feeling bitter! LOL

Back to the topic, a parallel discussion took place here.

the fatimis built a university that is known as al-az'har today.

the khawarij were known to be plentiful in deeds and worship - and it is said that ibn muljam prayed 300 nafl prior to smiting sayyiduna ali karramAllahu wajhah.

they will recite qur'an but the qur'an will not go down below their throats; you will feel embarrassed at your own deeds (compared to theirs) but they will go out of faith as an arrow leaves the bow, and will return only when that arrow returns to its bow.

----
and yes, many of these scans are from the library of alexandria and from the myriad western libraries - scanned by google and microsoft in many cases.

----
you don't seem to have progressed from your old habit of looking merely at the links and strutting as if you have read the whole bahr ar-rayiq from beginning to end. and if you had so much as gone to these links downloaded some books, you would not throw such an ignorant bait.

5. you can find many scanned original works on this website http://www.waqfeya.com/category.php?cid=81

they did a good job so did meshkat, i wonder who is behind those websites, lot of work to type or scan those books. May Allah reward them .....

Two Arabic works of Imam Zahid Al Kawthari al Hanafi (rh) has been translated into Urdu. But it will take some time for it to be published.

The books are :

1.Fiqh Ahl al-‘Iraq ("The Jurisprudence of the Iraqi Scholars")

Description:

less than a hundred pages in length, it is one of the great works on the remarkable character of Hanafi fiqh and its school and contains useful definitions of key concepts such as analogy (qiyâs), scholarly exertion (ijtihâd), and discretion (istihsân) as well as biographical notices on the most eminent figures of the Hanafi school. It was meticulously commented upon by Shaykh ‘Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghudda. Excerpts: (In praise of al-Zayla‘i) "If the students of fiqh find one among the hadith masters who is profoundly learned and truly insightful without being taken over by vain lusts – let them hold onto him tooth and nail, for such a type is, among them, as rare as red sulphur."
• "There is no jurisprudence without juridical opinion" (lâ fiqh bidûn ra’î).
• "Ra’î in this sense is a positive term for the quality of every jurisprudent and refers to perspicuity and complete insight. This is why you find Ibn Qutayba in al-Ma‘arif mentioning the fuqahâ’ under the heading, ‘The People of Juridical Opinion’ (ashâb al-ra’î), counting among them al-Awza‘i, Sufyan al-Thawri, and Malik ibn Anas. So does the hadith master Muhammad ibn al-Harith al-Khushani in his Qudat Qurtuba refer to Malik’s companions as ‘The People of Juridical Opinion.’ So does the hadith master Abu al-Walid ibn al-Faradi in his Tarikh ‘Ulama’ al-Andalus. So does the hadith master Abu al-Walid al-Baji in his commentary on al-Malik’s Muwatta’."
• "What is found in the words of Ibrahim al-Nakha‘i and those of his biographical layer to the effect that ‘the people of ra’î are the enemies of the Sunan’ is in the sense of the ra’î that contradicts the Sunna that is transmitted concerning doctrine. They meant by it the Khawârij, the Qadariyya, the Mushabbiha, and similar innovators. They did not mean ra’î in the sense of scholarly exertion (ijtihâd) in the branches of the Law that concern legal rulings. To give this any other sense is to tamper with their wording. How can it be otherwise when al-Nakha‘i himself and Ibn al-Musayyib himself are among those who express personal juridical opinion in the branches, in spite of those who cannot picture them doing so?" Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr mentioned the same explanation.
