    بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم۔

This is slightly separate from the topic of the original question, nevertheless I thought you might find it interesting. From 2:36:00 Maulana Farooq Khan Razvi tells a story about how he managed to make a Sunni the Imam of a Deobandi Masjid.

Even if it is not a sunni masjid, non-sunni organizers and/or non-sunni speakers:

Will he be able to openly refute the views of the bad 'aqidahs and present the truth, and publicly declare this as his purpose of participating...

Just my thought, one cannot just leave the sunni mosques to anti-sunnis....

    Another point:

If a sunni 'alims get to know that a non-sunni is speaking in a sunni masjid shouldn't he try to participate by himself (even if not invited) in order to refute whatever wrong he must have said...

How much does a sunni aalim need to ask?

    1. Is it a sunni masjid
    2. Who else is speaking
    3. Who are the organisers

Or does he just need to know it's a sunni masjid?
