The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was the manifestation of Allah's Essence. [mazhar e dhaat e Khuda] whereas other prophets are manifestations of Allah's Sifaat [mazhar e sifaat e Khuda] and awliya manifestations of Allah's Actions [mazhar e afal e Khuda].

 

i can see how a literalist would find that poem offensive but Allama Kazmi Shah sahib :ra:'s explanation is beautiful and makes sense-poetry is all about metaphor [majaz] but deobandits and their wahabist masters dont get it since they dont actually have a single wali amongst their ranks who has actually experienced such things as wahdat al wajood.

The very reason the wahhabis have suceeded in making the world an ugly place, is that they have lost the idea of God's universe being beautiful as a reflection of the names of Jamal.

As the hadeeth goes...God is beautiful and he loves beauty

God invites us to him through beauty.

And traditional islamic art and architecture reflected this.

The wahhabis have created cacophonies, and if architecture is "frozen music" then they have made monstrosities.

Wahdat ul wujood believes that the universe is a theophany of the divine names and attributes.
God is the light and the universe is the prism into which his light is reflected.

And what we see is the reflection of different wavelengths of light.
So we believe Muhammad(saw) is the most PERFECT mirror that reflects the light.
BUt he is not the *LIGHT*
When the mirror cracks, the light remains unaltered. The mirror is *not* the light
BUT THIS is far removed from what the hindus say.
The hindu avtaar belief is that God *becomes * a man. The light becomes the mirror

Perhaps this is too sophisticated for your wahhabi masters to teach you and you end up refuting something without actually understanding what is being said. Alas , there is cure for ignorance but not stupidity

Muhammad Yar Faridi has a poem saying that

IF MUHAMMAD (YAR FARIDI) CONSIDERS MUHAMMAD (SAW) TO BE GOD (KHUDA) THEN HE IS MUSLIM AND NOT A FRAUDSTER

And As-Sayid Ahmad Shah Kazimi defended this poem saying it is based on the creed of Wahdatul Wujud, which is not only for Prophets, but other than prophets as well, but other are Mazhar naqis, then Awliyah are better Mazhar, and then Prophets are best mazhar.

Then Kazimi Sahib quoted from ibn 'Arabi, and also said that it is the creed of Deobandiyah Elders and quoted for this Anwar Shah Kashmiri's Faydh Al Bari

He concluded that if Muhamamd Yar Faridi was a kafir, then also ibn "arabi and Deobandiyah

And there are other poems saings that Ahad (Allah) came under veil of Meem becoming Ahmad, and other poems saying that Khda is known as Muhammad (saw)...Muhammad (saw) is Al-Hayu Al-Qayum...
