Shia population in Pakistan

    Yes. This is well known. Pakistan has the second largest Shia population in the world. (Though some say it is India)

    If the figures are correct. It means that Pakistani shia population is the second largest? Or im wrong?

    The most reliable estimates are that Shias are around 13% of Pakistan's population.
    If you include all their sects.
    Assuming Pakistan's population is 200 million (at least) that would make the Shia population 26,000,000.

    That looks correct to me.

    I don't think it's 225 million.

    They are 7% or around 16 million out of 225 million Pakistanis. This includes Giligit-Baltistan, FATA, ismaili agha khanis, ismaili bohras. f you need more info, pm me please.

    Do members know how much Shia population estimate is in Pakistan? They insist on it is 20 million. But I believe shia lies. Its only 10-15 million. I hope you will share the original figures.
