You can get a cheap enough arabic tutor online who can take you through a curriculum via zoom or Skype. Plenty of websites available. You won't always find a free course that suits your time table so just pay if possible, usually very well worth it. You'll be able to find a teacher that uses a curriculum of your choosing that way too and can fit the lessons in whenever you want at reasonable notice.
If you are in the UK then I recommend Sacred Texts. Taught by Shaykh Sjaad Hussain, a classmate of Shaykh Asrar. Though there are plenty of free sources available here and on YouTube. Find what works best for you.
Thank you for the recommendations brother. I sincerely appreciate it. Is Imran Alawiye a good source to learn arabic from? Do you recommend any books or online courses?
It is important also to have a solid grasp of philosophy and logic. The book Mantiq al Jilani has been translated into English. Some ulama also recommend Peter Kreeft’s Socratic Logic (ignoring his Catholic bias). I found the text very helpful. I don’t think anyone should go deeper into Kalam or Philosophy without these basics. The best thing to do after you have read them is to find a Sunni shaykh to study with. (There’s not much great stuff in English, learn Arabic )
You should buy the translation of Aqeedah Sanusiyah by Shaykh Abdul Aziz Suraqah. This includes a translation of Shaykh Saeed Fodeh's notes. You should also purchase the book Islam Answers Atheism by Shaykh Asrar Rashid.
Can someone guide me to any Sunni English books on Rational Theology? Much appreciated. JazakAllah Khairan.
