AbdalQadir time to move along! will check pm's.

I agree with Noman Farooqui. It's squarely our fault for being so insular and parochial. We have to let go of this 'wahabi/devbandi until proven Sunni' mentality for anyone who isn't an Urdu/Punjabi speaking 'tanatan'! Yet, at the other end of the spectrum, there are those who are cozy with the pseudo-rawafid!

Thats unfortunately what happens when our Sunni brothers become overly obsessed with nitpicking irrelevant issues and not actually speaking out against the bigger fitan that are attacking the Ummah such as perrenialism, LGBTQ stuff, etc. As a result people like Daniel will be inclined towards the deos because they are actually speaking about those issues.

On the other hand we have reduced ourselves to arguing about stuff that do not need to be argued about outside of the Indian Subcontinent. I have seen that many otherwise Sunni individuals especially in the United States who are not of a subcontinental background have an aversion to so called "Barelwis" because they see them as goofy sufis and people who do not contribute much to any relevant discourse.

Daniel has no problem promoting other Sunni scholars such as Shaykh Salek Bin Siddina (whom he has promoted in the past) so it shows that he is not biased against Sunnis or Asharis or anything like that. It's just that many times in the newer and more relevant discourse the first people to go and start wagging their tails and cozying up to non subcontinental Sunnis are deos. And because those Sunnis are unaware of the deo heresies they consider them Sunnis and start promoting them.

However, I find that many of our subcontinental Sunni brethren arent interested in actually contributing to anything, they just want to be loved even though they dont contribute to much and they want people to just automatically know about the heresies of the deos without anyone informing them.

The way to solve this issue is not just complaining and crying about "everybody loves the deos". The solution is to be the first people to refute heresies before deos do and also to forge good relations to other Sunnis who are not into Sunni-deo polemics. When we start talking about other issues that are also relevant (instead of just starting off talking about how deobandis are heretics) and gain the trust of non subcontinental Sunnis first AND THEN when we have gained their trust we inform them of deo heresies then that would be better for Ahlus Sunnah.

Looks like this website keeps adding more Deo writers.

This Mufti Abdullah Moola seems to have studied with deobandis.

They recently added Zameelur Rahman from UK for one article, too.

Not sure about their other writers.

It's a shame since some of their refutations of current events are spot on.
