if the picture of the grave of imam husayn is shirk
why would hanging the picture of ka'aba in one's home not be shirk?

what exactly is shirk here? grave, picture, hanging the picture?

    or is it 'tabarruk'?

people keep models of ka'abah in their homes - or if you wish to say it like idiots: 'statues of ka'abah'. do they worship the ka'abah?

    al-iyadhu billah.

Volume 4, Pg 299 is about tayammum in the 30 volume version (link above)

Is the liar referring to the old 12 volume collection?

pg 299 and 300 don't say what the liar said in his tweet (i didn't comb both pages properly)

this is a very clever sleight of hand.

there is no such thing as "statue of the tomb of al-Hussain"

for argument's sake, let us assume that something like this was indeed said in FR

if so, can this liar bring the original arabic/urdu/farsi word used by Ala Hazrat?

in english, a statue refers to a carved figure of a person, animal, or a mythological figure - something we detest in Islam

the tomb is an architectural structure where a wali or popular person is buried, as opposed to the stand alone grave, which also is not a human, animal, or mythological being

there's no such thing as a "statue" of a grave or a tomb

taj mahal is a tomb of shahjahan and his wife

this is not a "statue" of the taj mahal that anyone in india keeps in their homes. it's a model of it

is this a "statue" of the empire state building?

on the contrary, the original statue of liberty is a statue, as is the miniature replica

does the jahil who tweeted that also accuse half the devbandi and wahabi world of keeping a "statue" of the Kabah in their homes; and does he think we worship the Kabah?

the liar just cleverly worded a tweet in english knowing it will rouse emotions and responses from unaware people - and that is ASSUMING he's honest in saying Ala Hazrat did approve of keeping a MODEL of Imam Hussain's mazar at homes.

as far as i know, Ala Hazrat was AGAINST taking out processions of 3alam in Muharram, and also against taking out the ta3ziyahs (actual MODELS used by shias as well as shia-leaning and jahil "Sunnis") in such Muharram processions, but apparently he gave up calling people out on it because all the jahil Sunnis who participated in such processions never listened to him despite his repeatedly speaking against it.

other brothers can clarify further perhaps

    Asalamalykum,

I came across this post on twitter. I have asked around, but nobody can find the original urdu where this was taken from while others stating it's a forgery.

    Can anyone clarify?

    JazakAllah

Incase someone can't open twitter it states,

"There is no harm in keeping the statue of the tomb of al-Hussain in the house for the sake of blessing" awa Ridwiyya Vol. IV, p. 299."
