100% agree. It’s sad he has to deal with people like Shahid Ali trying to bring him down.

AbdalQadir time to move along! will check pm's.

MashaAllah Asrar Rashid is a gem for not just desi Sunnis, but Sunnis in general.

He has a knack for putting his energies to good use and not getting distracted by all the noise pollution around us, be it by devbandis or tanatan cults or closet rawafid and so on, and if something needs to be addressed, address the core issue in the right way and move on without getting dragged into the peeri soap operas and turf wars.

Up and coming scholars and writers can certainly learn something from him in time management and task and topic prioritization.

The first half of the book will almost certainly save people from falling for any claim that misinterprets known signs of the hour or false claimants of being the Mahdi. It looks closely at cult leaders and their methods and how to protect oneself from their lies, delusion or mental illness.

This book is a must read in the current time and it's the most important work on the topic as it's written in 2022, which allows the author to look at far more false claims than previous authors could and refer to very recent events such as ISIS.

The book is very well written, in an easy to read font and eloquently. A real page turner.

The beauty of it is the signs are discussed chronologically with hadith cited as we go along so it gives a clearer picture than ever about the world we live in and how close we are to the end times.

Whilst looking at the signs, the author puts to bed misinterpretations of eschatology and calls instead for Muslims to wait for the signs to appear as mentioned in the Quran and sunnah, they being the only certainty. The rest is mere conjecture.

The book also helps to strengthen Iman: that these signs are foretold and inescapable and Muslims must concentrate on their own selves and getting closer to Allah rather than be unnecessarily perturbed by goings on.

It should be reported and Sunni readers should post their own reviews.

I can see one of Shaykh Asrar's haters has put a negative review for that book, primarily blaming the shaykh of bringing in sectarianism into the topic!

Don’t understand why it has to only be available in hardcover and not paperback. Not everyone wants to buy hardcovers for every single book.

What is it retailing at? Islam Answers Atheism was £25 when it came out but is now at £15.

In his earlier work ‘Islam Answers Atheism’, Asrar Rashid enters the territories of the New Atheists and those pursuing kufr humanistic sciences—particularly those bent on debunking a Divine Reality. Intent on showing the false trails laid out for the unwary, he aims to rescue those who have been misled by showing the weakness and fallacies in their arguments and that in most cases, behind their disparagement and denigration, the Hand of God is merely replaced by straw-man arguments, emotional content, and fantasy. ‘Navigating the End of Time’ sets a course for a navigation of the dangerous ways that Armageddon-watchers have invented or twisted prophecies to their own advantage. Rashid draws on examples of how both Muslim and non-Muslim millenarians have cajoled and brainwashed followers, in many cases, to their doom. The trials and tribulations of our time are indisputable, but Rashid lays bare the fitan which are essentially a result of our own miseducation or dependence on the products of the industrial revolution—the apotheosis of which is the smart phone in our hand—which completes what has been called the mass-formation (or crowd psychosis) of our ‘technic society’. These he juxtaposes with the language of the Qurʾān and the key prophecies of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and what he says about the fitan of the End Times. These eschatological matters were further collected and mapped out by a few Muḥaddithūn and Rashid gently teaches us how to map read; ‘Do not travel there until you learn to read the signs properly, and if possible find a very good guide.’
