i just came to know that irfan shah led prayers at a masjid. going by his talaffuz, he would be unfit to be the imam even if he were a sunni. except of course, those who are unable to recite like him. nas'alu Allah al aafiyah
MashaAllah tabarak Allah! Heartwarming to see this from brother Shahid Ali. I repeat a humble request to him and Asrar Rashid, as well as other KNOWLEDGEABLE English speaking ulama and orators to form a stronger force to combat all sorts of attacks on Sunniyat and Islam. Work to a strategy and division of work loads for the sake of Islam and Ahlus Sunnah. Not doubting their intentions or making accusations, but leave aside anything personal against one another or careerist aspirations of being a one man army against all deviants and heretics accumulating all of the Sunni public's wah-wah's and Subhan Allah chants.
if a man serves the religion for 35 years or 70 years - and considers it as a 'favour' to ahl al-sunnah, the 70 years were anyway wasted. because Allah ta'ala or ahl al-sunnah are not in need of our khidmat much less our 'ihsan'. --- secondly, if a man were 70 years in service of ahl al-sunnah, and then turned against it - the final score is what matters, not the past heroics. innama'l a'amalu bi'l khawateem. ---- two hadith for everybody's benefit and a reminder for all of us: sahih bukhari, #3208 sahih muslim, #2651: if organisations are built by public money - or gathered for the purpose of religious activities - nobody owns that money. those who handle the money are not 'owners' to claim "my organisations" (unless they used their own funds) and they are accountable for everything - how the money is spent and how the organisation is run and who benefits from publicly funded organisations. if the institutions by pir-maruf sb are not run by the money from his own pocket, he cannot refuse to answer public objections - especially when public money is used to platform shiah like irfan shah. if not, tell me the difference between you and hindu swamis and babas who hoard billions without ANY accountability? being a senior man or "ask your father" are not answers to irregularities and actions that hurt ahl al-sunnah - somebody's father will not answer you in your grave or on the day of judgement. muslims leaders are answerable to Allah and answerable to other muslims when it is a matter of public concern. ==== nas'alu Allah al-aafiyah

The grave is on the far right, covered by the chadar, with empty spaces on the left, so I assume it was made to serve as a family Mazar:
I don't know who this pir is but is this actually a darbar being constructed for his child and if so, who is paying for it?
