Mālik al-ʿulamā' Zafar al-Din Bihari, Jāmiʿ al-Radawi, a great work in ḥadīth and Ḥanafī evidences.

The target audience of the Barelvi ʿulamā' is not the arabs, it is the people of the sub-continent. The only reason the dev authored these commentaries in arabic were in response to the the commentaries by Azimabadi and Mubarakfuri on the two sunans.Why would Arab ʿulamā' need to read to the commentaries of the deobandi 'scholars' when they have the likes of Ibn Ḥajar, al-Nawawī, al-Qastallani, al-Ayni in their commentaries on ḥadīth, or Mulla ʿAlī al-Qari in his commentary on Mishkāẗ. Ibn Raslan, al-Ayni on commentaries of Abū Dāwūd.

i'm yet to read about ibn abdulwahhab (or maybe read and forgot) being ruled a murtad, but given that his son who tried to propagate his ideas was certainly cross examined with due process of the law under the Ottomans and was executed as a murtad in Istanbul, as were some of his grandsons and other wahabi imams, it's a safe bet many ulama of that time considered that shaytan as a murtad. Ala Hazrat only arrived later!

plus this guy is misinformed, these things are variable and subjective

if there are lighter rulings on the lighter wahabis of our times or certain places, or even Ibn Abidin's time and place, there is no mathematical formula that can be applied for all times and places, unless they have a clear cut saying or action that warrants takfir (like ismailis or qadianis) or lack of takfir. if indeed the beliefs of the wahabis of Ala Hazrat's times reached kufr, then they will indeed be called kafir by him, even in a generality, like the so many zindiq madkhalis and perennialists of our times

as usual - deobandis ka dimagh bhi bayl aur gadhe ka hai.

allama ashraf - was not justifying it - nor was he condoning that idiotic idea that the thought of the Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam causes 'interference' in tawhid. any one who says this is bereft of iman and he must weep for his aakhirah.

alamah siyalwi was trying to emphasise on how bad it was - "if at all he had to say this, he could have said it without comparing the esteemed Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam with undesirable things"

if zayd told qasim who was drinking wine in public: "aren't you ashamed that you are openly drinking? why, you could have at least not done that in public". the conclusion drawn by deobandis (sad-aafreen on their understanding) is: zayd condones drinking.

the imbeciles should read the rest of the munazarah.

As a response to the recent Deo Mufti's video regarding the statement on the donkey in prayer, the Deobandis are now responding with this.

If somebody could please verify the translation & explain it or so. This is one of the bigger Deo accounts too.
