To be honest, this doesn't come as a surprise. In independent India, no hindu has ever been convicted and punished for killing Muslims in bloody riots. With pliant judiciary, this was a foregone conclusion.

the guy was a Muslim as is popularly known. even if he was a sinner or criminal unto indian law, the ruthless assassination does not take away from him (or other sinful Muslims killed by hindutva animals) being hukman shaheed. Allah knows best.

actually the current hindutva wave is a cancer unto itself. it's not outside resistance (from Muslims or sikhs or anyone else) that's gonna collapse the entire body, rather the spreading of this cancer that will eventually eat the body. just see the situation with the farmers for a sample. before the body collapses, yes, Muslims are bound to suffer a fair bit, and we ask Allah for 3afiyah.

 

Problem with hindus and India is complete lack (or shocking erosion) of moral compass. Mind you, hindus are the most superstitious and dumb lot. Barring few left-leaning intellectuals (who are inspired either by communism or west), hindus are shorn of intellect, natural sense of justice and humanity. If hindus behaved decently thus far, it was only because of the long-term influence of Muslim and British rule. As hindutva seeks to actively disassociate from "centuries of slavery", hindus are rapidly lapsing into animalistic way of life (that characterises the original/basic fabric of hinduism).

Thanks to its judeo-christian roots, the West still retains bit of moral compass, even though it mixes that conveniently with extreme hypocrisy (after all, that's what came to characterise judaism). So when western leaders go rogue and commit egregious transgressions, parts of media and public resist/protest in public or private.

Moral duplicity has been around in India for as long as Congress and other "secular" parties held the sway. So muslims still suffered at the hands of hindus (public and establishment), through large-scale riots and discrimination. There was still a modicum of hope/support from judiciary, parts of print media or some stray upright individuals.

India under RSS project has taken leaves from Nazi playbook (after all, RSS pracharaks were ardent Hitler fans). So history of genocide will repeat as andh-bhakt hindus seek to replicate lebensraum by driving out or subjugating or exterminating muslims.

Pockets of opposition to hindutva are too sparse or impotent to stop this juggernaut. India is not a federal system (at least not in practice) and chances of break-up and internal civil war is more remote than it ever was. So if you think few voices with secessionist tendencies will splinter the country or make the central power come to senses, then its wishful thinking.

For sure, every power/tyranny will come to an end (and so it must as per Allah's law); but before that happens Indian muslims will undergo suffering of an unprecedented scale. The question is not if, but when and how (deep and long) this will be.
