Well, I´m flabbergasted! (Not.) Actually kids of today could do well to have lists of words to learn the meanings of...since in state schools most don´t read novels--THE best way of improving one´s vocab. (with a dictionary in hand).
I couldn't see lucubrate or indite or angst or bane or obviate. learn as well the language of origami: the art of paper folding. It's a lot of fann (fann ('art') fun - gerrit?! do any have objections religiously to folding paper and making shapes? parents should speak to their babies/read stories but please none of the infantilising codswollup.
you only got half the title. it is: 100 Words That All High School Graduates — And Their Parents — Should Know this means that clever parents leads to clever children - makes sense. or children should interact with their parents; so they learn off each other.
there are quite a few words that are about science. is it a fair choice of 100 for a graduate who never studied science? eg. just did psychology, geography, sociology.
