subhanAllah, this khutba is mind blowing. Sayyidi Ala Hazrat was a great lover of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. his works and khutab bear testimony to this. I recommend all to read the khutubaat al-rizwiyya which has been published, the eid khutbas in particular. they are simply mind blowing, full of love and ta'dhim of Rasullullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his noble household, the blessed companions and the great ulema and awliya. does anyone know whether the khutubaat al-rizwiyya can be downloaded? i haven't come accross this work on the net.... I ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to fill the hearts of all creation with the love of rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
yes. it will help show the inconsistency of many muftis of today and the genius of alaHazrat. if you are acquainted with fiqh books, you will know where to find a quote. people mistake this skill for knowledge. tafaqquh is different. and i hope this new section will show us how the elite are separated from the minnows.
i think we should ban all deobandi sympathisers who criticise ala hazrat permanently. i don't know why you don't do it.
the fatwas and books of deobandi elders is - inspite of the hype by the modern deo bloggers - just commonplace. and alaHazrat's work is outstanding; even the names, the khutbas of his books stand out as the work of a genius. i dare any deobandi to show me something unique his 'imams' have done - other than introduce wahabism in india and defend it. i am tired of commonplace maulvis dismissing alaHazrat and singing high praise of other commonplace maulvis. these bloggers? do they even understand alaHazrat's khutbas? or even the names of his books? i dare any deobandi to translate alaHazrat's khuTbah on the Hadith sciences. [http://www.alahazratnetwork.org/hadith/jamiul_ahadees/02/index.htm - the khuTbah is on pages 5, 6, 7 of this volume] qad tunkiru'l aynu Daw ash-shamsi min ramadin wa yunkiru'l famu Ta'ma'l maa-yi min saqami the afflicted eye cannot bear the light of the sun, and the diseased mouth cannot stand the taste of water. --- read that book: tafwiyatu'l iman and ask yourselves how does your iman permit anyone who can defend that shameless work? do you hate alaHazrat just because he asks the ummah to respect the Prophet sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam? for all the arab-western scholars who criticize alaHazrat, with due respect: if it was not for this mountain of knowledge, perhaps there wouldn't be a sunni in our lands - and Allah taala knows best. the deobandis change colors to suit their environment, don't be deceived by their remonstrations. discover alaHazrat - he who refuted wahabism and defended ahlu's sunnah long before you were all born. read tafwiyatu'l iman - this is the book their 'imam' rashid gangohi praised in his fatawa: 'it is true faith to read this book and keep it on one's person'. if it was not alaHazrat, this book would be the bestseller in our lands. if the deobandis show sunnism/sufism it is because alaHazrat forced them on the backfoot. by Allah, this is a great injustice. a man who served islam and ahlu's sunnah is criticized for what you yourselves strive to achieve [i.e., establish ahlu's sunnah and refute wahabism]? and i am intent on proving it, inshaAllah. wa bi tawfiqih. a liar like desai and whatsisname-sajjad acting like the khawarij [ask him to go check the comments by imam bukhari on what sayyiduna ibn umar thought of khawarij]. agreed, everybody praises those whom they admire but one should also be just. i ask all the deobandis: have you found any jurist greater than alaHazrat in the past century including your own imams? be just to yourselves and if you have not read his fatawa go read it. don't slander him. your objection is with his fatwa of takfir - don't lie or indulge in calumny about his works or his person. if you think not, you are welcome to show any flaw you perceive in alaHazrat's works. do the members think that we should start a fatwa critique section?
deobandis do not waste any opportunity to revile AlaHazrat as is demonstrated by ibn arabi and the petty blogs out there. let us keep aside the fatwa of takfir for the moment; as we all know that it is controversial. can you find any fatwa of alaHazrat that contradicts the majority of the ahlu's sunnah in matters of aqidah? or any fatwa that resembles the wahabi creed? or any support - overt or tacit - for the wahabis and their beliefs? alaHazrat's treatises are eloquent - whether in arabic or urdu; can any of the deobandi works match his scholarship? [oh, please. spare us the volumes] i agree that it is a subjective question - just give us your opinion about his fatawa. can you? [have you even seen 'em?] alaHazrat's poems are widely known and are enchanting; [again subjective] his salam is ubiquitous. is there any such poem by the deobandis that is captivating for its beauty eloquence or love of the prophet? why should the deobandis still be considered ahlu's sunnah even after they contradict sunni authorities, whereas alaHazrat should be suspect when he merely conforms to the established view and is a spokesman for the same?
