The blessed Shaykh who wrote the question to Imam Ahl as-Sunnah álayhir rahmah in the posted link was, Qaḍī Faḍl Aḥmad al-Ḥanafī of Ludhyana alayhir rahmah. He also endorsed the ruling of Ḥussam and is included in as-Sawarim al-Hindiyya, number 112, pp. 50 - 51 in the new edition.

    Commenting the great Shaykh said,

…is istiftā maiN jo kuch darj zayl hai. woh sab Ṣaḥīḥ hai. tamām musalmā-nān e ahle sunnat wa jamaát ko kitāb e mūstatāb ḥussam al-ḥaramayn ke mundarja fatāwa ko maan kar un par áml paeyra hona lāzim hai.

    when when?

  3. "the lights of the sun of truthfulness" or "rays of the veracious sun" or "beams of light radiating from the sun of truth" or "veracious solar emanations" etc. etc. just playing with possible translations...oh no wonder translators have been described as traitors by some!

I am sure that someone proficient with movie editing (Muhammad Ali?) can perhaps do that once the translation of Ala Hazrat's text is uploaded. I like the idea.

  6. sidi aqdas, excuse me for my pedantry, but shouldn't the transliteration be anwar-e-aftab-e-sadaqat with the additional izafat after the first anwar? apologies if i am wrong.

    ---
okay brother chishti no probs. may i ask who has already done this noble deed? would it be possible to use some movie editing software to upload the video with the translation as running subtitles in addition to publishing it as a text?

i will try to do a naat insha Allah of sayyidi ala hazrat instead then.
