we recognize the lion by his paw - these lines speak to the legacy of the master-pen of alahazrat - the manqabat must be by someone from his household and infact it is - by none other than mufti akhtar raza khan (Hafidhahullah)!

the estimated number attendees ranged between 700 thousand to 1 million for the funeral of the great leader of the ahle-Sunnah.

Karachi has never seen such a massive turnout for a funeral - hundreds of scholars (with dozens of well known names), and hundreds of thousands of mourners. it was impossible to take the bier out of the ambulance; it would have led to chaos and delays in the burial.

this too on a working day, i.e. Friday; if it were a holiday, the numbers would easily have doubled.

may Allah, the Oft Forgiving, forgive all Sunni brothers who attended the last rites of His friend. aameen.

 

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

An amazing person with a wealth of knowledge who single-handedly changed my entire community for over a decade. A great personality whose welcoming charm won over the hearts of many. He will be missed. May Allah Azzawajal grant him Jannatul Firdous.

A sad loss indeed. May Allah ta'aala grant shah Saab the higest abode in jannah in the company of his noble Grand Father ﷺ and hasnain karamian radiAllahu anhuma.

Salaat ul Janaazah will be held at 3:30 pm in New Memon Masjid, Bolton Market, M. A. Jinnah Road, Karachi.

May Allah ta'ala further elevate the ranks of this great son of His beloved: and grant him one of the loftiest stations in Paradise, close to His beloved.
