sidi asif, i dont have the equipment to do recordings to upload. sorry. sidi abul fadl, i think it would be best to asl qibla mash'hadi sahib direct at www.haqchaaryaar.net
Also, he mentioned that saying 'alaihi salam alone for other than the Prophet's is not right. where did he get that from? many sunnis all over address them with this. I thought it was only wahabis that object, first time I heard a sunni object. Did he present any evidences?
:s1: Would it be possible to upload that speech? Ala Hadrat has a Farsi encomium about Imam Husayn :as: in the second volume of the Hadayiq. It contains such phrases as Shahzadeh-ye-gulgooN-qabaa imdad kun! Prince with the rose-coloured cloak--help!
I was at Dudley Mosque last week for Sayyid Irfan Shah Mash'hadi's brilliant speech about the Sunni stance on the merits of the Ahl al-Bayt. He said that Imam Ahmad Rida Khan 'alaihir rahmah remember Hasnain Karimain with some beautiful alqab (titles). Is this right: Zahirain al-Bahirain al-Nayyirain al-Tayyibain al-Tahirain Also, he mentioned that saying 'alaihi salam alone for other than the Prophet's is not right. He said something like this which Imam Ahmad Rida wrote and used: Fatima salamullahi abeeha wa 'alayha and one should not just say Fatima 'alaihas salam or Husain 'alaihis salam. First send salam on Prophet then the mentioned person.
