Towards the end, respected mufti sab says that "the experiment has been successful and that it is life saving is known by certainty or at least overwhelming probability (zann-e-ghalib)".
isn't it too early for that conclusion?
masha Allah tabarak Allah mufti sahib's explanation is quite good and he seems to have a good grasp of fiqh as well as secular sciences.
Mufti Qasim Zia says it's allowed if no other option left.
have any other ulama given their views on this or on Mufti Akmal's ruling? i feel a lot of themselves high and mighty ulama like to deride Mufti Akmal and his stances.
Have our Indo-Pak scholars issued any fatawa on this, using animal tissues and organs in humans:
1) animal material from other than pigs
2) any animal material including from pigs
Aside: Is Shahid Ali in agreement with Al-Azhar fatwa (assuming honestly reported by BBC), or is he going to release a video against Al-Azhar soon? (Yes, I'm being somewhat facetious, coz it seems for a lot of desi Sunnis, the only masail worth dealing with are those where other desi Sunnis have ikhtilafat with them. For anything else happening in the world, shut your eyes tight, be it pig heart transplants or modern gender theory and lgbtq propagation or perennialism or anything else.)
