Mawlana Asad has been known to make mistakes in his IG answers. He once apologised when Ibne Khan pointed one of his mistakes publicly. He also cried about it and said he was not consulted in private first, however when he is contacted in private, he doesn’t really want to discuss things and is rude.

It is good that he is reaching the young but maybe he (and everyone else who generally does Q&As on IG) should get answers to tricky questions checked before posting them.

can you share his name or the name of event with those of us who do not know?

 

The reason I asked was because a famous Instagram mufti, who is notoriously known for his dodgy rulings, who has been seen all over sunni stages recently including sitting with Shaykh Asrar, has gone over to America and become a Goof. He sat with HY and prompted him, the gatherings he went too had no or very little pardah, and he was even seen taking pictures with Ghair Mehram women.

He has 3 gatherings next week in all sunni masajids, it is worrying the likes of him are on our stages.

Recently Mawlana Aqdas got a statement out of him regarding his stance on deobandis, maybe if possible he could ask him to clarify on what happened in the US and why he was sat with the likes if HY and why secondly was he taking pictures with women.

 

I took that as joke from the individual since I'm pretty sure he knows about Shaykh Asrar refuting HY.

 

I was more bemused than Sheikh Asrar. Like I said, has he (the Molvi) been under a rock all this time?

 

The Molvi sahib, who was present besides Sheikh Asrar (latest clip that has been doing the rounds), was asked to recommend an English speaking scholar that the awaam could listen to.
He said HY, don't think Sheikh Asrar was too happy about that.

certainly not. such people should not be given a place on sunni stages. anyone who promotes HY is at the least a feeble sunni, if not a sulh kulli. If he knows about HY, then he is unsure of his faith.

If a person does share a stage with him, he either does not have enough knowledge (about HY or his shenanigans with perennialists) or unclear about the sunni creed OR is under compulsion for whatever reasons (eager to associate for worldly benefit, etc.)

sulh kulli is one who openly accepts HY and defends his support and promotion of TSQ; even those who present excuses for HY can be termed sulh kullis.

one of the major reasons we have 'canceled' shaykh yaqubi is his refusal to call out HY and praising him to the sky; along with praise of a mubtadiy daall wahabi like akram nadwi, who counts among his friends/admirers uncouth punks from garbage street.

sadly, it appears as if some people worship asaneed and will bow down to anyone if he has a higher isnad. akram nadwi is an uncouth mubtadiy.

it is sad that yaqubi sahib, a sayyid and son of a great man, should thus lower himself and keep company with people hacking at the roots of our religion. actually, if i remember well, yaqubi sahib in his khatm of bukhari gathering called for 'sulh kullism' and was visibly angry that some people 'attack' his pet friends.

if anyone asked me about shaykh yaqubi, i would tell him: avoid him. he is unreliable. his ghayrat is not ruffled when an atrocious attack on islam and the qur'an was launched in the form of TSQ, and HY is a contributor.

every person who fails to condemn TSQ (after being asked) is an enemy of islam or a sympathiser of an enemy of islam.

What should our stance be towards those who call themselves Sunnis and share stages and promote the likes of HY? Are these people Sullah Kullis? And should they be on Sunni Stages?
