Mashallah Maulana Nabeel Hanif of Malawi has done a stellar job of building mosques and schools in Malawi and taking Muslims forward in deeni and duniyawi matters. He's a man of action and an inspiration to other young people (his DOB is 1990, per podcast), even more to people older than him, and a great example to prove that community help and crowdfunding not only just work, rather they're essential and required for us to function as one body and do work for deen, and that it's all cool as long as you maintain transparency, honesty, accountability and integrity with the management of funds. Majority of us will get by our lives without bumping into that pot of gold or cracking that multimillion dollar deal (and all the needed time) so that we can start a decent project in the work of deen. So we really need to work with community funding. May Allah protect him and grant him more success, aameen.
