Beautiful description of the Prophet by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

    I've heard something similar to what you quoted from Imam Ibn al Humam by Shaykh Pir Sayyid Nasir al Din Nasir.

    Shaykh Hamza's saying is so deep though because of the multiplicity of meanings of 'human possibility'. It reminds me of ALA Hazrat's verse:

    Woh kamaal husn e Huzoor hai ke gamaan e naqs jahaan nahin...

    And imām ibn al-Humām says that which is not present in the person of the Messenger sallAllāhu álayhi wasallam cannot be a beauty. Whatever characteristic he sallAllāhu álayhi wasallam has is beauty and whatever he does not have cannot be beauty.

    Hamza Yusuf, in a speech on the Burdah, described Sayyidina Habib Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم with this beautiful description:

    "The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is the perfection of human possibility"

    I think that is such a wonderful description of Allah´s Messenger!
