yes. even if he just said that a person (without mentioning tahir by name) who does not acknowledge them to be disbelievers is one of them, he would have done his job and done justice. that answer is zulm and dalalah. that guy's daall and mudill as far as i'm concerned. aH is right. tahir has become a benchmark for 3ulamaa as-soo. anyone who's with him/his positions, is a munafiq against Muslims - of any stripe, or a major jahil, or is perhaps ignorant of the qardinul's stances, and this last option is the only last ditch husn az-zdhann option we have left for such a person. (of course it doesn't apply to 'that guy' in the video because he didn't speak the truth even without mentioning tahir's name)
No you are referring to 'Allamah Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri who is a graduate of Jamia Nizamia Rizwia Lahore. He is the student of Mufti A'azam Pakistan 'Allamah Mufti 'Abd ul Quyoom Hazarvi Sahib 'alaihi al rahmah and 'Allamah Mufti 'Abd ul Hakeem Sharf Qadri Rizwi Sahib 'alaihi al rahmah<O</O <O</O He also translated many Volumes of al 'Ataya an Nabawiyyah fi al Fatawa al Ridawiyyah and other Arabic books. He has also authoured many important tahqeeqi books on various topics. However he was influenced by Dr Tahir ul Qadri but has now left his completely<O</O <O</O He is the principal and founder of the Islamic university Jamia Islamia in Lahore.<ST1</ST1<O</O
@Sherkhan What he is saying is that Believers are only those who believe in the Prophet (Peace Be Upon HIm) - he ducks out of the question as to the ruling for those who say they are believers by saying that is a matter for them!
Doesn't he say (at the very end of clip) that anyone who believes otherwise (i.e. Christians/Jews as Muslims) is "out of the fold of Islam"? How is that a cop out? He may have been a Tahir supporter, but I don't think (by not naming Tahir explicitly) he has given a dishonest answer.
Message to Scholars & Political Muftis - Pir Syed Irfan Shah Sahib: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4R_ZKZd4ss
Mufti Khan Muhammad Qadri is a strong supporter of Dr Tahir Minhaji this is why he gave this political answer. As for Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri Sahib, the scholar who has wrote many books, he seems to be very close to Pir Abdul Qadir Sahib. After the Haqchaaryaar debate took place he wrote a lot supporting Pir Sahib. Not only that, he has written a refutation of the Haqchaaryaar book and again backed Pir Abdul Qadir Sahib. Mufti Khan Muhammad Qadri is in the UK now for permanent he is a Imam in a Mosque in Oldham and has took over as guest in Syed Irfan Shah Sahib's program Bahar e Shariah.
in our times, being frank and blunt is not being cultured and giving politically correct answers is 'proper adab.' --- if alahazrat wanted to make a name or build a profile, he could have piled up books by hundreds that would remain unmatched for centuries. he had such vast and deep knowledge, and an immense command of the languages. but instead, he busied himself in writing fatawa (which his enemies chide: 'he only wrote fatawa...') because he considered it his responsibility; that as a mufti he should make the hukm clear to those who ask. in our times, muftis are worried about keeping their reputation, instead of stating it plainly and clarifying it for the masses, celebrity muftis and scholars speak in riddles and leave it for the commonfolk to find a resolution. and those poor muftis who are not trained in the sophisticated art of sophistry are labelled as fatwa-baaz or narrow-minded muftis. ------ tahir as i have said before, has become a gauge to measure the knowledge or sincerity of scholars; only a munafiq or a jahil will support him after seeing his clips and reading his 'books'. i lose respect for anybody who praises tahir as a scholar, instantly. wa la Hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
A cop out of an answer to be honest. Of course everyone is responsible for his actions but what is the consequence of having those beliefs??? If you aren't prepared to answer questions, don't go on tv!!
oh, yes, he is gifted, alright. we pray Allah ta'ala guides each and every sunni, especially our scholars.
JazakAllah for the information. I heard Mufti Khan Muhammad Qadri (whose video is posted in the 1st link) on Takbeer TV last month. His oration, which appeared extempore, was highly lyrical and he sounded very impressive. On googling, I found some of his older videos praising Tahir, which was rather shocking. But I don't what his latest stance is, although he seems to be saying the right thing (without explicitly denouncing Tahir). The other Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri, as brother Aqdas pointed, has been rendering great service in writing and translation.
no, sherkhan. two different people. khan m. qadri in the above video should have been clearer. he is based in pakistan, a graduate of dmg bhera, but it seems he has been in the uk for quite a few months now. --- as for the muhaqqiq, mufti muhammad khan qadri, he used to be with tahir years ago, he has since come out and talked of tahir's plagiarism and passing others' work off as his own etc.
Is Mufti Khan Muhammad Qadri (featured in the above video) same as "Mufti Muhammad Khan Qadri" who has authored and translated over 2 dozen books in Urdu? Is the above Mufti based in UK or in Pakistan? Can someone clarify?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s7f6xePKLs He was asked what would the hukam be on Tahir Minhaji, he said he is responsible himself for what he says! This is because Mufti Khan Muhammad Qadri is a pro supporter of Tahir Minhaji.
