I do street Da'wah in public. I set up with a table and hand out translations of the Qur'an and pamphlets. Alhamdulillah, lots of people have become Muslims through me as a means, and the organizations I work with have had hundreds or thousands of people accept Islam. Question: is it permissible to do street dawah if there is free mixing of men and women and also music playing in public? If so, how to tackle those who approve of Ulama teaching mixed classes that have no barriers, or where there is a barrier so male students cannot see female ones and vice versa but the shaykh can see the females and they can see him (or a female shaykha can see male students and vice versa). They say that if this is wrong, then you shouldnt give street dawah either because principles are being compromised. Please advise.
