I recall briefly a Madrassa teacher saying it many many years ago and it stuck in my head. I have not accepted it but I just wanted to ask incase the scholars of kalam did ever suggest such a thing.
Not becoming Muslim IS doing a lot of evil. Anyone who dies not Muslim is doomed to hellfire. Read the Quran and hadith. The people who didn't hear about Allah or the Prophet 3alaihis salam AT ALL (like some pygmies) will be under the ruling of the ahlul fatrah.
Don't worry I am not asking if people of other religions can attain salvation despite knowing about and rejecting Islam. You guys dug a grave for perennialism a long time ago mashallah. The question is: Are there some non-Muslims who despite not entering heaven, will not enter hellfire either? For example non-Muslims who did not accept Islam but they were not people who spread corruption or did a lot of evil etc. Or is it a case of either heaven or hell and there is no in between.
