Adding onto this, Imam Suyuti's saying that the dead control the universe has been propogated also by salafis recently. I saw a clip yesterday of a Wahhabi saying this. It would be good to get a refutation.
And is it correct to openly propagate this belief and the belief of Rasūlullah ﷺ being Mukhtār e kull / Namaz e Gh'awthiyyah & other such practices. Some argue that it further Alienates those Salafi-Influenced people who might have converted to ASWJ otherwise & creates a Gross Caricature of "Barelvīs" in the eyes of other more "moderate" Muslims.
