unki mahak ne dil ke ghunche khiladiye Hain,
Jis raaH chalgaye Hain kuche basaa diye Hain

His fragrance has caused the buds of my heart to blossom
Whichever road he has travelled, he has brought it to life!

bHini khushbu se mahak jaati Hain galiyan wAllah,
kaise phulon me basaye Hain tumHaare Gesu

Jab agayi Hai josh-e-rahmat pe unki ankhen,
Jalte bujha diye Hain, rote Hansaa diye Hain

When his eyes have surged forth, ocean-like, with mercy
they have extinguished those on fire, brought smiles to those in tears

ek dil Hamaara kya Hai, aazaar uska kitna,
tumne to chalte phirte murde jilaa diye Hain

What is my heart alone?--however much its harm
You have brought back to life the living dead!

Unke nisaar koyi kaise He ranj me Ho,
Jab yaad aagaye Hain, sab gham bhulaa diye Hain

May I die for him! However much sorrow someone is in
When he is remembered, all one's sorrows are forgotten!

hum se faqir bhi ab pheri ko uthte hongey
ab to ghani ke dar par, bistar jama diye hain

Now even mendicants hope to obtain something from us
Since we have lain our matresses at the door of that Generous One!

asra me guzre jis dam beDey pe qudsiyon ke
hone lagi salaami, parchum jhuka diye hain

During the Ascension when he passed the angelic hosts
They began to salute him and lowered their flags!

aane do yaa Dubodo, ab to tumHaari jaanib,
kashti tumHi pe chooDi, langar uThaa diye Hain

Whether you let me cross or not, it is now up to your pleasure
I have left my ship in your hands, have lifted the anchor!

dulha se itna keHdo, pyaari sawaari roko,
mushkil me Hain baraati, purkhwar waadiyen Hain

Say this much to the Bridegroom: Beloved, halt your steed awhile
The wedding guests are in difficulty-their way strewn with thorns!

Allah kya jaHannam ab bHi na sard Hoga,
    ro roke MuşTafa
I ne dariya baHaa diye Hain

Allah! Have the fires of Gehenna* still not frozen over?
Beloved Mustafa has wept oceans of tears!

*A place of burning, torment, or misery

mere kareem se gar qatra kiseene maanga,
dariya baHaa diye Hain, dur be baHaa diye Hain

If someone has asked a mere drop from my gracious Master
He has given him rivers in return, whole oceans instead!

Mulk-e-sukhan ki shaaHi tum ko Raza musallam,
jis samt aagaye Hain, sikke biThaa diye Hain

Congratulations on being crowned king of Verse, Raza!
Wherever you have gone, coins have been struck in your name!

someone sent me a clip in which was this couplet and i had to explain it to them. i wrote:

meray kareem say gar - qatrah kisi nay maanga
dariya bahaa diye hain - durr be-bahaa diye hain

bahaa is used in two meanings here:

    bahaa: is to make flow
    bahaa: price, value
    be-bahaa: invaluable, priceless

meray kareem say gar: if from my generous master
qatrah kisi ne maanga: a drop anyone asketh
dariya bahaa diye hain: he has let flow rivers (in response to the ask)
durr be-bahaa diye hain: he has bestwoed precious (invaluable) pearls

    ==
also diye is used in slightly different forms here
bahaa-diye: has let flow (diye is used as a helper verb; muawin fiyl); also makes it definite. i.e. has certainly let flow.
be-bahaa - diye: has given invaluable (diye is used as a regular verb)

    ---
    but why durr bey-bahaa?

because durr is also a qaTrah - a raindrop is converted to pearl - according to popular belief in the east; modern science debunks this theory of a raindrop enclosed in an oyster becomes a pearl. irrespective of its scientific merit - in language it is used as a metaphor for a valuable 'drop of water'. like ghalib's famous verse:

daam e har mauj mein hai, halqah e sad kaam e nahang
dekhiye kya guzray hai qaTray pay guhar hotay tak.

the snare of every wave is encircled by the mouths of a hundred crocodiles
see what the drop has to endure until it becomes a pearl

[Halq: throat; Halqah: circle, surrounding; the snare is like a crocodile's mouth - not easy to escape]

    in a farsi couplet:
qaTrah az tark e khishtan guhar ast / when a drop abandons itself, it becomes a pearl.

so he SallAllahu alayhi wa sallam gives you a river if you ask him for a drop
or he gives you precious, invaluable drops - whichever you may take - or both
