    Allah Chooses His People (Amazing Story of a Taiwanese Sister)

    trial shahadah? is it valid? what is the status of a person who accepted islam by reciting the kalima but only to see if it suits him and thinking that if it doesn't he can simply stop calling himself a muslim and carry on with life?

    this is a general question not specific to the above video as we do not know how authentic the incident is.

    Hafiz Sahib is not a devbandi.

    However he has invited Haroon Hanif to a Mawlid. Hanif has compared the 'Barelwis' to the Khawarij and a lot more. Sunnaforum has a thread on him.

    He also invited Akram Nadwi's student Saqib to the Mawlid.

    But both Hanif and Saqib didn't bother turning up like the Jewish community didn't at Tahir's bash at Wembley.

    Hafiz Sahib are linked to the Ghamkol Sharif Tariqa and are a Murid of Hazrat Sufi Abdullah Khan I think.

    when he has been saying the rubbish below

    Also who Hafiz Sahib sees as the 'Shaykh ul Islam of the British Isles' sits with the Christians to do 'Scriptural Reasoning'

    It would be good to know if Tim and Mark see the trinity in a monotheistic light. Maybe Hafiz Sahib can ask them for us

    I hope people don't start acting on the two hadiths he quoted without going through their explanations and learning the fiqh of adab of masajid. reminds me of what I read in MFM:

    "There are other such examples in ĥadīth, where the Prophet  did not stop a deplorable action immediately, but explained the ruling afterward. For example, a bedouin began urinating in the masjid and the Prophet  did not stop him. This ĥadīth is found in many books including Bukhārī, Muslim, Musnad Imām Aĥmed, Sunan Ibn Mājah, Sunan al-Kubrā of Nasāyī, Musnad Abū Yaálā, Sunan al-Kubrā of Bayhaqī and others. The following report is from Şaĥīĥ Muslim:

    Anas ibn Malik mentioned that a bedouin stood up inside the Masjid and urinated therein. People cried out [in shock] and RasulAllah  said: “Leave him.”

    Imām Bukhārī listed this ĥadīth under the caption: “On being gentle always.” Imām Nawawī says that RasūlAllāh  did not stop him because the deed was already done and the bedouin had already dirtied the masjid. Secondly, interrupting him would cause the man discomfort as he would not have completely relieved himself. Thirdly, if people rushed to stop him, he would have risen midway and thus dirtied his clothes too; or if he darted across the masjid in panic, he would dirty a much larger area. Qāđī Íyāđ says that the lesson in this ĥadīth is that we should be considerate with ignorant people and compassionate in teaching them, without being harsh or being abusive with them. The bedouin’s action was because of ignorance; not out of spite or being intentionally disrespectful. In another narration about the incident of the bedouin urinating in the masjid, RasūlAllāh  called him afterward and said:

    These mosques are not for urination or defecation. Rather, the masjid is to remember Allah, and to pray and recite the Qur’an.

    Can this incident be used as a basis to invite people to urinate in the mosque?"


    besides, if what he says is true then it further proves the opinion of the cautious ulema that sending children to secular/non-muslims' schools is nigh to jeopardizing their iman.

    The west is not a good place to be. Better eat chutney-roti in your own mohalla and protect your and your progeny's deen than fly to the luxury and extravagance of the west and pay for it your akhirah. Allah('azzawajal) be our refuge!

    he talks about children of Muslims attending church everyday during the school holidays and the christian priests "teaching" them about the Prophet, 3alaihis salat o salam; about children of Muslims saying "son of god"; and about Muslims celebrating christmas and so on

    but isn't all this a part of interfaith harmony and humanism that is preached by ali jifry and omar bin hafeez and mark hanson and others?

    they should all be very proud of such children and such parents.
