And Sunni masjids just keep on giving. Will the issues with Yaqubi sahib be raised or is that someone else's problem?
This does not surprise me as it is a natural link up due to both having residency in Canada. Dr Sahib will be disappointed though as his ego is such that he would believe this sort of title should have been conferred on him by Shaykh Yaqoubi himself rather than his caliph. Maybe he will get the shaykh to ratify it. Mufti Wajid and co won't get involved as they did not when their Shaykh shared stages with the likes of Akram Nadwi. They will make excuses and peddle 'sufi piety' but have no such feelings for actual authentic Sunni ulema. The bottom line is these celebrity scholars will collaborate when required, give a shout out or generally feed off one another to remain relevant and cover up their major blunders. I have given up hope these individuals will stand up for the truth on any issue.
tahir is a dream-stealer. he stole imam suyuti's dream and packaged it as his own dream. and where imam suyuti (500 years ago) memorised only 200k hadith because according to him only so many survived to his time, this fraud of our age claims to have knowledge of 400K hadith. ---- i have not seen such a blatant liar in our time except the indian PM, the criminal modi. ---
someone tell this blathering sidekick of tahir - who is himself proven to be a jahil a few times (i.e. this faisal) and his shenanigans that neither tahir nor he are capable of standing scrutiny about their capabilities in hadith sciences.
I'm not sure why people exaggerate so much about today's scholars. Tahir can't even pronounce Arabic properly. On what grounds can someone say he's like Imam suyuti? Any average scholar is given the loftier titles when being introduced or spoken of, its absurd. How many hujjat ul Islam's have we got wandering around these days?
Shaykh Faisal Abdur Razzaq referred to Tahir ul as the Suyuti of our age. This shows he knows neither Suyuti nor Tahir ul. Tahir ul accepted this massive exaggeration though he is fully aware he isn't fit to even touch the books of Suyuti. Compare that to Sayyid Madani Miyan who was called the Alahazrat of our era and he replied: 'if you think someone today is like Alahazrat, then you don't know what Alahazrat was.' I don't know how long ago the episode of Shaykh Faisal is from but with Tahir ul being a deviant, shouldn't people like Mufti Wajid alert their shaykhs of his misguidance? Or is it just going to continue being a I'll scrub your back, you scrub mine? The Kashmiri murids of Shaykh Yaqubi are well aware of Tahir ul's deviance so let's see if they ever acquire the uprightness to state so to their leaders.
