Remembrance Publications are pleased to announce another event with our noble ShaykhFaisal Hamid Abdur-Razak (may Allah preserve and protect him). SOLIDARITY WITH SYRIA: ONE DAY FAST The request is for all people who can fast to do so for the sake of lifting oppression in Syria, and specifically to fast for that one particular day; #FAST4SHAAM. The invitation is open to all, from Birmingham to all around the world. The event is to be held at Central Jamia Masjid Ghamkol Sharif Birmingham Events, Birmingham and will begin at 13:00 hours on the Sunday the 15th of December 2013 and is scheduled to finish before `Isha. The day will include Quranic recitation, Qasida – devotional poetry – led by The Travellers - Al Musafirun, a talk delivered by Shaykh Faisal, and food will be served for iftaar. There will be two presentations; one on the work of the charity SKT Welfare; and the other presentation will be on the Contribution of the Syrians – to the world society. Along with Shaykh Faisal - who will be our guest of honour all the way from Toronto, Canada - there will be many special guests supporting the cause.
