On the Deobandis being Wahhabi, I would say that their Wahhabism is proven by the fact that they sell (in my local Deobandi-Wahhabi-Tableghi bookstore) Kitabut Tawheed by Ibn Abdul Wahhab at-Tamimi an-Najdi. Not only this, but they practise on the contents of the said book in that they call Muslims Qabar-Pujari (Grave-Worshippers). To substantiate this claim they decontextualise the same verses of the Holy Quran that were decontextualised by Ibn Wahhab and make the same argument that he made in Kitabut Tawheed. Please read Awliyah Allah and Mindunillah, translated lecture of Hazrat Molana Mohammed Shafee Okarvi al-Qadri R.A.: http://sufi.co.za/article mindunillah.htm

On the subject of Deobandi-Tableghi-Wahhabism please read Faith and Love, translated lecture of Hazrat Molana Mohammed Shafee Okarvi al-Qadri R.A.: http://sufi.co.za/article okarvi faith fat.htm

In their translations of books the Deobandi-Wahhabi-Tableghis have removed certain Sunnhi beliefs from books by editing and changing classical books, please see the section "Removal of Hadith and Statements from Original Books of Great Scholars" in the translated lecture of Hazrat Molana Mohammed Shafee Okarvi R.A. entitled The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. The Proof of Allahs Majesty and The Bringer of Divine Law: http://sufi.co.za/article okarvi proof.htm

On Tableghis (i.e. Deobandis) being Wahhabi download the English lecture Dismantling of the Caliphate and Wahhabism by Hazrat Molana Shah Ahmed Noorani Siddiqui al-Qadri R.A.: http://sufi.co.za/audio_lecturesulama.htm

    fair enough.
I went back to the answer and re-read it. the
negates the possibility (in my opinion) that it could have been done with the intention mentioned above [#5][#6]. this is my opinion now based on the answer and not against the mentioned shaykh for I don't know if it is truly his answer.

i would say that this format is not suitable for such an answer.

the shaykh cannot give a personal reply, keeping in mind the state, direction, or hal of the asker, which could be the only excuse in this case, using this format, which essentially serves the purpose of reuse.

It may be that the Shaykh felt there is no point (benefit) in contradicting that base shii!
