I have ipod touch, much cheaper then getting the iphone and the only difference is that it doesnt make calls or have a camera. Since i have wifi at home and work i'm always using the internet on it. Ipod Touch / Iphone are great if you know what you're doing. I have one app which allows me to watch Aljazeera english in super quality. Apart from that you can stream live tv and also there's bbc iplayer via their website. And then if people know how to "jailbreak" then it allows you to use apps which are not in the apple store, opening up more for u. You can download programmes of the internet as alternatives to itunes as well.
i dislike itunes because you can't just put files onto a memory stick...you have to sync it and sometimes it's just so painstakingly difficult to sync.
i can't get the iphone because i already have a phone....so that's as close as i can get to the IPhone 3gs @sherkhan: I agree....
Well I wasn't asking about the ipod touch...but i have the iphone 3GS and surely u can upload naats onto the ipod touch via itunes? thats what i do with my iphone...what is the capacity of an ipod touch? there are certainly other good mp3 players out there...sony make some superb ones... as for the iphone though...that really WAS a revolutionary device....how many brothers/sisters on sunniport have some version of the iphone? (but i think that by the end of the year google will take over)
ipod is the most over-rated gadget ever! Success of ipod is testimony to power of marketing/promotion rather than to quality/class of the product. ipod may have pioneered certain new features and design, but it is a very ordinary gadget. Apologies if this offends ipod lovers.
i have the ipod touch and to get naats or lectures or qirat onto the ipod touch is really really hard because it doesn't have a memory stick
:s1: Anyone got the Nexus One yet? It looks sick! (i.e. very impressive) Is it better than Apple's iPhone 3GS? And internet rumours abound of a 4th Gen iPhone to be released this year too by Apple. AND then there is the highly anticipated release (expected) of a new electronic device by Apple which will revolutionise computers like the iphone did mobiles. Its been dubbed the iSlate by internet geeks and seems even sicker than the iPhone! Between them Apple and Google are taking over the world...poor old microsoft (and nokia) are being blown away...
