correct me if I am wrong, but to say that 'someone IS a sinner' as opposed to 'someone is BOUND to commit sins' is different......no? Why does it feel futile to argue with deviant/wobbly sects?!!
OK....thank you bro Aqdas. I have had a look at Tirmidhi Shareef, 2423 on google, therefore the Ustadha has definitely mis-quoted/translated this Hadith!! I see it down as: “Every son of Aadam is bound to commit sins, and the best of those who commit sins are those who repent.” But I do not have the arabic text. This changes the meaning a fair bit. I have seen this mis-quotation on a few of what I perceive to be non, wholly-Sunni sites.........do you think this is deliberate?? Please clarify....... JazakAllah.
shame i didn't see this query earlier as i had access to mufti ahmad yaar khan's commentary of mishkat and i believe this hadith is therein. it may also be in ibn majah and tirmidhi but that's i can't give exact references.
Anyone?? I need to reply to a personal email and I just feel this hadith has not been quoted correctly or mis-quoted perhaps. Just want to be sure. JazakAllah.
http://qa.sunnipath.com/issue_view.asp?HD=7&ID=8694&CATE=3670 please can someone clarify the authenticity of the Hadith quoted in the answer and give me a reference as none has been provided: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "Every son of Adam is a sinner and the best of sinners are those who repent." Also, what is the Aqeedah of this Ustadha.....anyone know? JazakAllah Khair.
