well, he would have deserted them even if he did not know the kufriyaat. he was an insider and must have witnessed firsthand the hypocritical nature and the underhanded dealings of the tablighis. he must have known quite early after joining (if he did not know before, which I doubt) that these are some of the most evil pretenders to islam, knowledge and akhlaaq. I suspect that he joined them because he knew that they are sly businessmen who know how to make money and gain power in the name of religion. He was not a foot soldier - not the cannon fodder who go to places on foot - he had never been one and would never had accepted that position. he was always a celebrity and he never ceased to be one. to all appearences, the cat just changed the pot from which it licked the cream. we are not talking about kids - nor about illiterate dehati rustics. we are talking about people who have access to stuff that an ordinary person does not - and international connections. If one group fails them they can always continue their search until they come upon one that upholds truth unflinchingly. It's not a choice between tablighis and "pious" hippies - not for celebrities at least. all I can say is that the thirst for money, fame and power makes strange bed fellows. whether he really "questioned and changed for Allah ta'ala" is not known. his subsequent actions seem to question that idea. I for one do not believe that a sincere seeker can be mislead so - and his end come whilst still in the wilderness. That is a scary thought. wa Allahu a'alam bis sawaab wa 'ilmuhu atamm
Naseeb, Taqdeer. If he had any good in him, he would have deserted Tableeghi Jamaat the moment he came to know about the kufriyyat of devbandi elders. It would be extreme naivety to say that he did not know, even after being in TJ for so long, and being one of their celebrity proselytizers. "man shakka fee kufrehi wa azaabehi, fa-qad kafara." On the other hand, why don't these guys revert to Sunni Islam when they come to know about the apostasies? there are lots of reasons, but one is the state of affairs that one witnesses at the tombs of awliyaa (and some non awliyaa). it is enough to put off even a Sunni Muslim. it is time our scholars took up cudgels against the rascal "mujawars" who have no other intent but to make money. it is these rascal mujawars' antics that are turning people into wahhabis MORE than tableeghi jamaat's efforts.
Junaid Jamshed's case is a sad one. If you look at pictures of him from his pre-Tablighi days, you don't see that trademark 'deobandi hardness' that you see in pictures of his Tablighi phase of life. He looked like a normal, simple human being - that hardness was not there. Yes he was in music (as far as I know to his credit he wasn't a womanizer or drank alcohol) but I bet in his early life he would never have even thought of the type of statements he made in his Tablighi phase. He had the courage to question his life and state and leave music behind which takes guts. Anyone willing to question themselves and their state, willing to change and seek Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala - there is good in that person. Unfortunately, he ended up in the suhba of Tariq Jameel and company. And look at the effect of their suhba. The statements he made are a direct result of their suhba. I'm sure Junaid thought he was associating with good people. I wish he had woken up a second time and questioned this and left them behind like he left music. wallahu a`lam
a small verse in his memory...................... hum to doobey haiN sanam tum ko bhi le doobengey! biwi ke saath saath, sab ko marwa diya manhoos ney!
the headache called JJ is over. the PIA aircraft in which he was travelling has crashed. he was coming back from a tableeghi trip from chitral.
either you do not know what 'goons' means or you do not care what words you use for sunnis. no one asked you to "defend" anything. as if your defense or opposition is going to make a difference. the brothers did what their love prompted them to do. My heart felt prayer is that they receive the ziyarah of RasulAllah (peace be upon him) and they remain steadfast in defense of haqq. wa's salaam
Can you prove its the Sunnis who are setting fires and damaging property??? Don't be quick to jump to conclusions. How do you know that the perpetrators are not government stooges or enemies of Islam trying to paint a bad picture of the Sunni masses? For your info Sunnis have already distantced themselves from these actions and have caught 'agents' trying to disrupt a peaceful demonstration.
On a related note how is it good for Pakistan that Sunnis are rioting in Islamabad tonight and setting fire to buildings etc. demanding that the government listen to their demands? That is not what Islam teaches! Yet unfortunately some people will give Sunnis carte blanche to do anything. On the same day, Pakistani terrorists have killed 60+ people and injured hundreds of others in a park in Lahore. Both are anti-government, anti-Pakistan and anti-Islamic acts which cause instability in a country and effect the lives of innocent people.
Regarding GUSTAAKH , similar to the YEMENI FATWA https://musjidulhaq.com/2016/03/06/ghazi-mumtaz-qadris-shahadah-yemeni-fatwa/
Bro. Unbeknown, Why should I? Just because they are Sunnis I should defend them and their action? A goon is a goon whether Sunni or anyone else. If Sunnis start doing terrorism acts like the Wahhabis are doing should we then defend that too just because the perpetrators are Sunnis? No way! Wrong is wrong no matter who does it!
tafdili/rafidi has his say: Haidar Ali Last year, he stated that A'isha b. Abi Bakr, radiya Allah 'anhuma, became extremely jealous in a few situations during the life of the Prophet, salla Allah 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam. Now, in the context of his speech, his remarks were understandable. However, a few weeks later, after being bombarded with fatawa and even death threats aimed at him, he publicly retracted his statements and repented. The hype against him had seemingly died down after that, but I guess not after seeing what happened today. Ayman Muhammed Was there more to it? How can that be considered an insult towards the Rasul? Or is there something else? Haidar Ali Ayman Muhammed: Not that I know of, bro. And his initial remarks were not profane. Barelivis of today are just extra sensitive about everything. I personally think it's because Jamshed has been gaining popularity in Pakistan over the past couple of year and is now regularly on TV and the Bareilwis don't like it because he is a Deobandi.
they are not goons. they are sunni youngsters who love the Prophet (peace be upon him). you can argue whether their action was wise or unwise but calling them "goons" is utterly deplorable. please take back the offensive words. i didn't hear the swear words. personally, i don't like cuss words which hint at depravity, even if they be true.
also add deviant misguided Muslim who has uttered disrespectful statements regarding our Master şalAllāhu alayhiwasallam. replace deobandi creed with blasphemous satanic creed.
I think what these goons did was a disgrace to Sunni Islam and the teachings of Ala Hazrat. Hitting a Muslim who has done public tawbah for a mistake AND then swearing at him using swear words associated with his mum and sister (edit mod (aqdas): swear word) is not Islamic. Or are you going to justify beating up anyone who 'does not leave the Deobandi creed'?
