SECOND LUSTRE: THE THIRTEENTH NÚR BY THE GREAT ZAYDI SAYYID, THE PRINCE OF IMAM ZAYD ASH-SHAHEED, THE DESCENDANT OF THE PROPHET (peace and blessings be upon him), AL QUTB NURI MIA BARKATI (alaihi rahmah).

"It is incorrect to think that excellence is the order of khilafat. In fact, khilafat is the order of excellence and is manifested accordingly. Every excellence in comparison to the other came ahead in khilafat. The proof of this is that their merits were found accordingly in the sacred presence of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him). Although at the time none of them were khalifas, their merits were established in the lifetime of the beloved Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him) and they were accordingly chosen as khalifas. This signalled the reality that the office of khilafat took place according to the order of excellence and not excellence in the order of khilafat. Therefore, this reality is not hidden from anyone. May Allah the Exalted protect us from bad actions."
