If a person wants to measure his nearness to Allah

  2. what use is piety if the end result is to insult The Habib صلى الله عليه وسلم(nauzubillah) and lose one's imaan? Iblis did a sajdah for 100, 000 years. What did it get him in the end except the la'anah of Allah because he insulted Adam :as: ? What then on those who insult Allah's Habib? صلى الله عليه وسلم

    Thats sheikh Ganhohi ra to you. You can't touch his piety.

    no doubt, but there are many horrid and deplorable sayings from the same shaikh too. kindly note that we are not an admirer of gangohi at all, so don't use this place as a bulletin board for your deobandi marketing stuff.

    If a person wants to measure his nearness to Allah, he should apply the following formula given by Shaykh Gangohi:

    “A person’s nearness to Allah is proportional to his distance from his own ego and self [nafs].”


    What a beautiful saying.
