actually there are a couple of bones of contention, all of which are sareeh kufr and tahir himself has left zero room for tawil

1- calling nonMuslims as believers (and consequently hingting towards their salvation).

this cannot be undone without a public denunciation and tawba and then re-entering Islam publicly. saying there is no salvation without believing in Huzoor Paak, sallAllahu 3alaihi wa sallam, any n number of times is of no benefit here. the rulings of apostasy are clear. for sareeh kufr, even if a person repeats the shahadah out of habit or behaves and acts like Muslims like praying, fasting etc. the apostasy can only be undone by retracting from the kufr, denouncing it, and re-stating the shahadah with the declared intention of re-entering Islam. without that, even if he says a million times that there is no salvation without believing in Huzoor Paak, but he just said ONCE that christians are believers, it is deemed apostasy. the books of fiqh are clear on this. so much for your "research scholarship"!

2- praising the aimmatul kufr and saying that he is honored to be next to them - this is open and sareeh apostasy (calling the leaders of the hindus and sikhs and buddhists as "great")

3- praising the idols of the mushrikeen - and their evil religions (the "awakening" of the buddha, the "love" of krishna, and the "optimism" of the sikhs) another open and sareeh apostasy. the Quran says that these are just names that these kafirs and their forefathers dreamt up. i don't know what exactly he refers to by the "optimism" of the sikhs, perhaps their hatred for Muslims and their hope to do ethnic cleansing of Muslims from the subcontinent

that's TWO acts of apostasy - 3a) praising their idols 3b) praising their religions

4- stating that christian and jewish faiths (as known today) came from Ibrahim 3alaihis salam - thereby attributing him with falsehood and kufr. the Quran says VERY EXPLICITLY that Ibrahim was NOT a christian or a jew but rather a Haneef Muslim

5- calling the books of the kuffar as sacred and praising them by saying he will take lyrics and mantras from them etc.

6-asking the kuffar and mushrikeen to call on their false gods 'according to their religion & tradition'

7- finally, saying that calling the mushrikeen to Masjid-e-Nabawi and asking them to pray according to their traditions is a Sunnah of the Prophet, 3alaihis salam. a major buhtan towards the Prophet, 3alaihis salam, which no REAL Syed will consider worth ignoring. REAL Syeds follow the legacy of Imam Husain, radi Allahu 3anhu, who did not even take bay3at with a zalim and drunk yazeed, much less being an open murtad's groupie fanboy

that's 8 separate acts of sareeh and open apostasy leaving zero room for tawil in most of them, not counting his christmas celebrations, and wearing the popes hat, and other such acts - kufr murakkab

it is not enough to just join the congregation of salah like Muslims to eradicate these or to say like Muslims that believing in Huzoor Paak is necessary for salvation. to be considered Muslim requires equally as sareeh denunciation of all such acts, repentance, and re-entering of Islam by taking the shahadah. even a Muslim child studying basic taharah and ahkam of namaz will know this, much less a "research scholar"

but people with no shame or zameer like you and your father and your peer will look the other way and whistle, and when someone says something to expose your hypocrisy, will throw a pathetic guilt trip based on straw men.

if anyone is behaving like yazeed and his criminal thugs right now for whom groupieism is more important than haq, it is the groupie fan clubs of tahir, which includes your jahil peer and his jahil groupie fanboys like you and your father

 

I think, the bone of contention here is about considering non-Muslims as believers hence salvation. I was just addressing that point.
