It is very troubling, especially in regards to the Shadhli mureeds of Shaykh Yaqoubi. Some of them are very learned and are doing week excellent work in terms of courses and classes. However, the blind following of their shaykh is disappointing, especially as they reserve the judgement to criticise and mock Sunni scholars. Attacking them is fair game and not against their 'sufi' outlook but the parameters change for other scholars. That is what particularly disappointed me about Sh Nabeel. If they feel that Jalali sahib did commit gustakhi, then fair enough criticise that but then when similar statements came out about Syed Irfan Shah and their other shenanigans on Sunni stages, the goalposts changed. He demanded us to have more husn e dhann but he showed none for Jalali Sahib. Contradictions upon contradictions that stem from this cultish attitude that is not just affecting our laypeople but some of our 'Shaykhs' too.
similar mentality running through. paqs Shaykh Syed Ya’qubi sahib Pirs of this alliance We are above the law.
I remember a while back there was a irfani mureed who was highlighting images of Sunni molvis who attended a TUQ event [I'm not against that, all sellouts should be exposed]. Now that Irfan Shah has granted Riaz Shia exclusive cuddle rights the same Irfani Zombi has been on social media clutching at any straws he can get his hands on in order to downplay pir e tariqat garbar e shariat sahibs actions. I find it absolutely disgusting when Sunnis become pathetic zombies like this due to pir prasti.
Not much different from Shia mentality then, they claim to be Ahl e Rusul and do and believe everything filthy whilst thinking they're not going to be questioned for it on judgement day, basically thinking you're untouchable.
Of course unity is only on Sunni aqida. tbh makes no difference now if they join hands with paqs or not. It’s all the same
islam is not dependent on personalities. many have woke up and smelt the coffee they have brought it on themselves
Just missing Syed Irfan Shah in the poster and we would've come full circle. I got no problem with Syed Irfan Shah sitting with these individuals but you can't blast them for decades and then cosy up without either saying you got it wrong or they come out and openly do ruju. This is just taking the Sunni public as mugs, who need to wake up and hold them to account. I am all for unity but it must be based on principles not these alliances based on convinience and mutual benefit. Only last week Syed Riaz Shah had an issue with a nara about Ameer Muawwiya and this week Syed Irfan Shah is hosting him. They demand respect from us when they continually do things that shatter their credibility
it is more worrying that some Sunnis are blindly following them even though they have gone against Sunni beliefs
Yes I agree @Noori. It's not befitting of a scholar to speak like that on a public stage. It's an issue that a lot of our scholars need to sort out. It is made worse when a Sahabi is used as part of the example. Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah and others need to cut this sort of language out. It is imperative for a syed not to use this sort of language against another syed, despite what Riaz Shah's aqida is. It is worrying that Syeds are openly demanding others to respect their rights but showing little or no regard for their added responsibility too.
that is why I did not mention what was it, and since he had done ruju', no blame of it on him; however the use of that vulgar example in the attached video is quite disgusting. he is defending yet does not realize that he is talking about a sahabi, this kind of language is disgusting even if you talk about common people.
When was that? I don't think that needs to be brought up now if now he defends Sayyiduna Ameer Mu3awiyah, but yes he is unreliable.
muzaffar shah sahab is quite unreliable, he himself has disrespected Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyyah before, then did ruju', even in this video he used very vulgar example with the name of Sayyiduna Muawiyyah, astagfirullaha al azim, though condemning an enemy of the sahabi radyAllahu anh
Beyond this, there seems like there is a lot of political maneuvering going on in the background. There are attempts to create anarchy and stir up sectarian fire in the country, and the agencies indifference or possible collision in this suggests the Army might want to take control of the country again.
This is what is the most confusing and annoying part... I don't know why the Sunni public put up with this. Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah needs to clarify what does he think of Syed Irfan Shah's recent behaviour or otherwise he will be classed the same too. To be honest, I think Syed Irfan Shah has a lot of credit in the bank because a lot of scholars, who if they had behaved like Shah Sahib would have been dealt with more severely. Shah sahib sadly seems to be sinking further by the day into the arms of individuals, who at best have questionable track records. Maybe it's by design but it is fortunate for Shah Sahib that Jalali sahib is locked up because I think he would have fully taken Shah Sahib to task.
Yes I agree his beliefs are fine, but his knowingly choosing to turn a blind eye to the shenanigans of Irfan Shah is definitely a own goal that's going to see him relegated if he carries on like this.
