Due to the nature of Mirza and his followers clip farming his rants on youtube shorts and tiktok, I have seen Mufti Samar Abbas Attari's passionate responses to his stupid 'tere babey te shay koi ni' slogan being clipped as well. seems to engage the sunni laymen enough.
I apologize if this is out of place but sometimes I feel that we still need shouting, raised voices even nowadays. Sometimes, but not always, that's just the best way to get the message across. I think of it as a way for scholars to show that they do not compromise on important matters.
i did some digging and in one clip mirza says that he and the journo are both students of that atheist ghamdi.
we are not giving enough credit to our ulama. agreed, that we were riddled with the the previous format of shouting - irfan shah being the champion. but the next gen ulama like mufti rashid rizawi etc do not shout - rather, they patiently refute mirza's moronic monologues. so also other ulama i have seen here on SP mufti zulfikar sahib: mufti zahid sahib: so our ulama have also upgraded. it is just that everyone should follow the new framework of not shouting.
the discussion is in a political and journalistic context, about which I don't know... but he has completely shredded this mirza. very good talk showing mirza the mirror and addressing his ignorance, stupidity and narcissism. wish some sensible maulana had done this to him in this manner. the talk by aftab iqbal also has some good salient points that can be utilized by the muqarrirs of our times on how to speak to sensible awam avoiding theatrics and screaming, and they should see why a lot of the awam gets turned off by maulanas! despite the non-religious context, it's an excellent case study on that side of things too. disclaimer: i don't know about the journalists involved or the context, nor am i a supporter of imran or any politician.
