The hadith specifically states "Abstain from blameworthy places".[Kashf al-Khafa, Vol. 1, Page 37, #Hadith 88] I seriously doubt that Asim sahib had taken all this effort to go into a gathering which was for the honour of a perennial such as Mark Hanson (not to Menton the several other issues of this individual) in order to rebuke him! He should have abstained rather than doing his typical act of happily being in pictures along side dodgy people. He probably does read this, but do you think he is bothered? He has built up a fan club through different channels and now on the verge of opening his own Madressah in Bradford-as some brother have informed and also has started up his own charity. A year or so I heard a speech of his in a Large mosque in Bradford, where he critisizes seniour Ulemah in Bradford saying the doors for him have been closed and the Sunni mosques in the area are no good for our youth, today i relise why seniour organisations and Ulemah did not invite him to speak in around Bradford. He would have poisoned our our Youth with his Wishy Washy ways. Sometimes the majority follow such, and you are the odd one out and then you get people who start targetting you because your not part of their cult breeding fame mongering group of people. This then becomes a time of fitna when Seniour Ulemah are then targeted for their stance of not letting the likes of Asim make speeches in the mosque, but WISDOM always prevails! Alhamdulillah. May Allah keep us away from such people and such fitna! Amin.
this is very serious. Some brother mentioned that ASIM knows about Sunniport, and knows about all the issues relating to Hamza Yusuf and his perennialist activities. But, i would like to give ASIM the benefit of the doubt. He is still a youth like me. We are hot blooded. He could be taking a stand and giving Hamza Yusuf Da'wa to come back to Sunni Islam, Allah Ta'ala knows best. If ASIM is a member of beydeenport, then its bad. ASIM should be debated for promoting Hamza Yusuf to the Sunni youth of London.
This has become a big problem now, rollay asim is poisoning the minds and hearts of the youth.
