Baya' Mujāhid e Millah álayhir rahmah was baya’ to Mawlana ‘Abd al-Kafi álayhir rahmah. They further gained ‘ijāza and khilafah from the following Shuyūkh, 1. Ḥujjat ul-Islam Mawlana Shah Ḥāmid Riḍā Khan al-Bareylwi 2. Shaykh ul-Mashaykh Mawlana Sayyid ‘Ali Ḥusayn Ashrafī Miyāñ Kichochwi 3. Khalifa e Alahazrat, Mawlana Diya’ ud-Din Muhajir Madanī 4. (pp. 112)
It is stated in Ḥayāt e Ḥāfiz e Millat, that Mujāhid e Millat performed their first Hajj and ziyara at the age of 19, 1341. The second time in 1955, third 1959, forth 1973, fifth 1974, the sixth 1979 in which they were arrested and sent back, and the final Hajj and ziyara was in 1980. (check pp. 113) They were also blessed with two visitations to Baghdad Sharif in 1954 and 1980.
My information is slightly different and I could be wrong. I have heard from my elders that Huzoor Mujahid-e-Millat (alayhirahma) on his 1973 hajj trip, refused to pray behind the salafis. He was tortured and made to stand in desert sun for hours. He was unable to complete his hajj that year. Next year Saudis had their whole machinery on full alert to prevent Mujahid-e-Millat from performing hajj. Despite the tightest security, he still managed to enter Saudi unnoticed and perform his hajj (this time without any interference). Such was the grace of Allah (azza wajal) on him. ----- Couple of years back, Razvi Kitab Ghar, Delhi published a special commemorative Mujahid-e-Millat number with over 500 pages in A3 size.

an incident involving Muhadith e Kabeer and Mujahid e Millat In Banaras, U.P, India, A Munazarah took place between the Ahl-e-Sunnah and the Ahl-e-Hadeeth. Huzoor Mujaahid-e-Millah, Allama Arshad Al-Qadri and mufti Shareef Al-Haq were present in Banaras to debate for the Ahle Sunnah. Allama Sahib was very young and was at home in Ghosi. He was not supposed to be taking part in the Munaazarah, however, the three previous mentioned great Ulema decided to call Allama Sahib, they felt a need for his presence. Remember Allama Sahib was very young at this time. Allama Sahib had to leave Ghosi straight away, he travelled in a local train, standing all the way tillBanaras. He was chosen by the Ahle Sunnah Ulema to be the Munaazir from the Ahle Sunnah side. He debated, and finally Ahle Sunnah won the munaazarah. Huzoor Mujaahid-e-Millah said after the Munaazarah astonished by Allama Sahib's level of understanding the uloom of Hadith, "Surely Mowlana Zia Al-Mustafa is not only a Muhaddith but is Muhaddith-e-Kabeer". This was the very Munazarah because of which Allama Sahib is called, "Faatih-e-Banaras".
a story narrated by my shaykh Muhadith al-Kabeer that after the passing of Ala Hazrat radi Allah hu Anhu, sadrush shariah was very upset and he was crying, and he went sleep leaning against a tree, when he was sleeping, Ala hazrat came in Sadrush Shariahs dream and said, why are you sleeping? There is still a lot of work to be done and he gave him papers in his dream, when Sadrush Shariah woke up, the papers were in his hands! Subhan Allah in the words of Muhammad Mian Baksh Wali Allah dey mardey nahi kardey parda poshi, Kee hoya jey dunyaa uton tur gaye naal khamoshi. The saints (favorites of Allah) do not die, they just hide behind the veil, So what if they leave the world silently?

can abu Hasan or brother Aqdas not compile a list of huzur Sadrush Shariahs (radi Allah hu anhu) students?
Apologies for digression. The above link that I posted on Huzur Mujahid-e-Millat (alayhi rahma) also has information on another awliya, Baba Bukhari (rahmatullah alayhi). One can notice the very odd shape of the mazaar sharif (see the pic with pink chadar laden mound). Legend has it that Baba Bukhari was so engrossed in muraqaba that his body was covered by termites and it turned into a termite mound. His devotees decided to cover that with sheet (chadar) and that became his resting place (mazar sharif). That's legend, what's the fact then? One of our very close family friends, who is a Qadri pir, informed us about the real state of mazar sharif. Since he was very close to the mutawallis of Kaipadar sharif, he was invited to attend a private annual ritual when the chadar is removed and maintenance is done. Lo and behold, he found that Baba Bukhari is still sitting in the posture of muraqaba, with his body in normal state and not a single trace of termite on his body; his nails and hair are trimmed regularly. Such is the status of the Awliya Allah! ...and salafis/deobandis believe that the Prophets (alayhis salam) are reduced to dust (maazAllah)!
this always amazes me. both of these leading scholars were students of sadru'sh shari'a a'zami raHimahullah! he is certainly the greatest mudarris in the last 100 years to have students of this calibre.
