I have not heard it yet! but i know that most of the albums of the naat khwaans were already recorded before this book was released. This is the reason why some new albums still contain zikr.
owais qadri's rendition of peshe haq muzda shafa'at sounds very nice but i cant remember whether there was dhikr in the background or not. there was dhikr but i get the feeling it was between the couplets. if so, something like this is allowed isnt it?
Good news! Zikr Wali Naat Khwaani has been translated into english! Because of this book by Ameer e Ahle Sunnat the naat khwaans stopped reciting naats with zikr.. http://www.dawateislami.org/library/download/pdf/2007/lit-294-1.pdf
