For me, I think I was protected because I was brought up in an upper-middle-class, educated environment with very supportive men and women in my family. So there may be a mass convergence of genetics and environment over a long period of time. But what would happen if I lost my family or lost my job; what would I then become? That's the test."

AQ bhai I think this thread is pointless as a large number of people whether Sunni or non-Sunni will suffer from one of these conditions. I personally think a lot of these conditions are made up, psychological gobbledegook. Take ADHD for example--apparently a lot of schoolkids nowadays suffer from this. It is just what, in our time, the teacher's and parents' called "a spoilt, inattentive child" which a good hiding used to surprisingly "cure". How come the same students who suffer from ADHD in school are suddenly cured when they fear the danda of the local Qari Sahib in mosque after school?!

the only thing non-Sunnis suffer from is becharay are influenced by Iblis! and some time in the presence of a sunni wali will insha Allah cure them. i have sadly got a family member who has recently been infected by the deobandi virus. it started when, despite my protestions and warning, he began to attend their mosque as it was closer to his house even and they had English speakers though it is a house and the main jami' masjid is a beautiful large sunni mosque built costing millions. initially they told him they also were "sunni hanafis" and now the disease has advanced to the point where he says the prophet was 'only a man like us' (naudhubillah) though he hasn't said that to my face yet.

Sunni-Agoraphobia : This is an extreme symptom of the Mubtadi Avoidant Personality disorder. The sufferer, a mubtadi, will avoid at all costs to engage in a dialog or debate or gathering of TRUE Sunnis where he knows he will be thrashed. He will always stay within the safe confines of the four walls of his home.

Mubtadi Avoidant Personality Disorder - This is a disorder suffered by deviants wherein they avoid any social meetings or interactions with Sunnis. They do so because they are consciously aware of their deviancies and know that they shall be hung out to dry. Such people are VERY averse to being criticized or refuted or evaluated negatively. They ONLY seek appraisals and avoid any circumstances where they are unlikely to be appraised.

One excellent sign of these people is that they have difficulty answering straight questions.

Selective Attention Deficit Disorder - A person only pays attention to something that supports his point of view, regardless if his point of view is right or wrong. He will cite and quote anything that supports his point of view and conveniently ignore something that goes against it.

This is a very good thread. I am of the opinion [observing different shiite groups in the Middle East and in the West] and other deviants as wahhabis, modernists, that only certain people, with specific nafsanic disorders, go to each of the aforementioned groups.

Visual Verbal Agnosia, and Auditory Agnosia is the disease that the Team on the deviant website marifah.net suffer from. The internet faqir from there is prime example.

It is the prime disease of fanclubs of celebrity "shaykhs".
