Walaikum As Salaam Mubahala is very dangerous and only for Scholars very well versed in debate. mubahala requires that you debate a topic and ask Allah to expose who is on falsehood by taking his or her life. So not for the layman Ws
Assalaamu A'laikum.. Can someone explain how mubahala works, for example its conditions and in what circumstances one may resort to mubahala.
Farid is the name of my deceased father (may Allah have mercy upon him) I am not from the konkan. I am a Memon by caste. Hanafi, yes.
no, he is Aaqib Farid Qadiri and is a hanafi (to the best of my knowledge). Mufti Aaqib Qadiri's surname is 'kharbe' and he is a konkani, shaf'i studied at saqafah after completing studies at Darul-uloom Imam Ahmed Raza located at Ratnagiri. He is currently the principal of Dar-ul-Mustafa, Khopoli, Maharashtra. I'll be uploading his and Mufti Rafeeq Sa'adi's fiqh conference video on youtube soon, inshaAllah. a good question though. 'Farid' is a common surname among konkanis, would like to know if sidi Aaqib Farid is one.....
Highlights of a munazara that took place between the scholars of ahlussunnah and the wahhabi najdi sect in the town of arjoli, taluka-Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, India. The topic of the munazra was "Is the use of ta'weez shirk?". The wahhabi mullah lost miserably and ran away when he was challenged to a mubahala just like the christians of abyssinia had run away when the Prophet (peace be upon him) had challenged them to a mubahala. See the commentary to the verses 3:59-60 for more information about the event of mubahala. The najdi debater was ubaidur raHman salafi from dar-ul-salafiya, banares, India. A summary of the debate by Mufti Muhammad Aaqib Qadiri Shafi'i Saqafi: Some clips taken on cell-phones:
