If i remember correctly - meaning which Alim it was

Of course youre free to give Shah Saab a call and ask them? But you'll probably find it too difficult to call them in the busy schedule you have

Saeed Asad needs to sort his own aqeedah out before he starts pointing fingers.

As far as I know Pir Naseer did toubah before passing away in the presence of Syed Irfan Shah Saab if i remember correctly (I could be wrong about which Alim)

alahazrat thoroughly refuted ismayil and counted 70 of his kufriyat but didn't label ismayil a kafir as reports were known of his tawbah.

Refute the heresy and disclaim: if he died with these beliefs he is kafir/mubtadiy.

Brother aqdas, its very hard to use that method as certain things cannot be proven either way. Some say he did tauba before his death, but then others say he didnt, how can that be backed by proof, His family members are bound to say he has ahlusunnah beleifs.

Allama Saaed Asad Has Openly Said Pir Naseer Passed Away A Deviant, But Then You Have Irfan Shah Sahib Praising Him. Very Confusing?

for any person, we should just be able to list their aqayid (with proofs) and then decide if those aqayid are compatible with ahlu's sunnah.

if we simply say we'll follow the ulama, then I'm afraid we live in the wrong century. some ulama these days tend to form opinions due to extraneous factors and not necessarily based on the subject's aqayid.

ps: this post is general and not only about pir nasir (but obviously includes him too).

What is the opinion of the ulama on pir naseeruddin. There are many conflicting views within our ulama, who do we follow?
