Bro Wadood.....why does it bother you how much they earn? Just curious.....cos most people that sign up for courses concentrate on what benefit they will gain, as opposed to how much the tutors are getting paid. If that should be an issue for us all, then we wouldn't get far, considering anyone in such positions (and higher) earn fat salaries and bonuses. I have never given it a second thought to be quite honest and am intrigued why you pursue this angle? I'm not being cynical, just curious and hope you will not mind me asking.
How much did Shaykh Faraz make every-year while he was at Sunni-path? $40,000 US dollars an year or more? How much is Shaykh Hamza Karam-Ali, making at the moment every year? $50,000 US dollars or more? I am sure Habib 'Ali and Habib 'Umar are providing their services to Sunni-path for free. The average teaching salary of the professors at my faculty, in my secular university, is around $90,000 US dollars an year, before tax. Sunni-path and Qasid say they are charging prices comparable to western degree courses. I am sure there is no tax taken out of income in Jordan.

I just re-read your statement, Sidi Wadood, and you mention that it is from poor muslims. I have mentioned this to you before and you just ignore it, you can get it free if you put the effort into applying for financial aid.
Yes Sayyidati Hayaa, Sayyidi al-Habib Kazim is a student of Sayyidi al-Habib `Umar! Sidi Wadood, there are many people working there, in addition to the server charges for all the audio, in addition to the fees for flash and the designs for the live sessions in addition to the fact many don't pay full price including me. Since SunniPath charges hundreds of dollars for each course ($375 US for tiny courses on beginning Arabic!!!), and they have thousands of students all over the world, it would be appropriate to know what is happening to the millions of US dollars that the institute is making from poor Muslims, every year, in the name of "sunni" and "path". Is it all going into the salaries of the teachers? Does SunniPath publish its yearly balancesheet of earnings and expenditure? SunniPath is a non-profit organization. The same goes for Qasid.
Indeed. He is very much connected with SP. The first western student to graduate from Dar al-Mustafa, Shaykh `Abdul Karim teaches their full time and I have taken courses and they are excellent, Alhamdulillah!
